I’m impressed with the features of Nest and I’m eager to Apply them. I called for Google Nest tech support recently when I changed WiFi routers. Although the Tech Support people were certainly well grounded in their product, their response(s) to my question(s) were extended, convoluted and delivered WAY tooo quickly for me to make deliberate adjustments and my house went cold over the extended weekend. Then a three Day MLK Weekend Interval. My follow-up attempt to contact tech help Tuesday resulted in two events with Over 30 minutes HOLD sessions without result. Wednesday, the same thing. I will try to make contact again today Thursday and hope for a Tech that will work with me step by step to get this Nest Learning Thermostat functional. I threw myself to their mercy emphasizing that I am New to this product, however the response and my experience was like being extremely thirsty and getting a five gallon bucket of water emptied over my head.?

Changes temperature all the time by itself and doesn’t hold the proper temperature in the font on the dial is too small to read

Ever since migrating accounts to google home I can’t use my Amazon Alexa or Apple TV’s to view my google nest cameras. This is ridiculous. Update your apps or make them accessible.

The app keeps saying the unit is off line so I can’t control the temperature in the house. Fortunately it’s still working on the device in the house. Also, there’s no way to set the temperature to hold in the house. Just as it gets to the temperature you want & you’re just starting to get comfortable. The thermostat changes & it either starts to get colder (winter) or warmer (summer). I wish ot could just hold a temperature.

You can adjust temperature in your house wherever you are as long you got the app.

I really enjoy the wireless connectivity to control my home environment. I don’t like the fact that the nest app always asks me for my location when I’m home and alters the settings thinking I’m not home while i am at home. I have given nest location access always so it should know that I am at home.

There is a major delay in the image and video capturing and notification that someone is at the front door is delayed as well. This needs to improve.

I’ve only had it installed for about three weeks just before I went on vacation and I’m still a little confused as to what the different temperatures on the dial mean but when I go to the history it does tell me whether any energy has been used or not so I guess I’m safe!
