New update no good

Literally can’t view my live cam after this new update. It takes 10 min. By that time whoever’s in my garage got what they wanted. GO BACK TO OLD UPDATE IT RUNS BETTER

I hate the latest update. All I can do is watch live video recording. I’ve tried everything and when an event is triggered, the app will not push a notification or make a recording. I want the event to be recorded. The new look of the app is prettier but less functional.

recently updated the app now the Remove All function is not working for deletion of events captured.....please fix

New updated app ruined motion detection

Iam using the older app is work perfectly no complaints. But after updated new version of app and new firmware ruined the motion detective. Now every night iam checking my sd card motion detected it’s said NO ALERT.All videoclip recorded today just disappeared. I wish I can install the old version of the app back. What a disappointment!

Awful update

It only shows last 5 motion recordings. Are you kidding me?! Downloaded the app from 5 years ago. Works 100 times better than the new one. I hate dlink.

New app

The old app streamed really well even while using cell data. This new app seems slow and sluggish. I’ve adjusted settings as much as I can and it remains the same. Ease of use remains simple though.

This app keeps getting redesigned for no reason. Now I have PTZ cameras that I can no longer turn on automation for motion detection. Time to find another brand. Dlink is definitely going downhill.

More appropriate for newer hardware

I would not download this if you are using older d-link hardware. More lost functionality with the same connection-dependent responsiveness as before (or lack of, they could have coded better as one is not always on the local net)

You changed the app and now I have to refresh by going back and closing after you cut off my live stream! That was never the deal I bought and kept this camera for the non-stop live stream. NOW YOU Changed the app so whAt I have to pay ? No no, you are breaking your own contract with me and many others by making us refresh every 3 minutes, I cannot be attentive to an app every three minutes. So please keep your sales promises and give me the old app back! Or I could do a class action! Your choice, do not pick GREED! Also the app has many bugs it’s is not done well at all! Fix this now !

Problems with the katest version

Cameras and the dlink app have been great over the past couple years. After getting the latest update I found out it screwed the cloud recording, so I didn't haven't any recording logged, which the cloud recording is actually for and I pay for it and rely on it. The good thing is after setting some automation it started storing again but don't know what screwed the old setup. If not the recording issue it would have been 5 stars for sure.
