Disconnects a lot and doesn’t record motion all the time I have 2 cameras and it happens with both of them But it’s ok for the price being able to rotate the camera from a remote location is great when it works
The app is of poor quality

I have 2 cameras. The app crashes every time I switch cameras. It doesn’t record event video from both cameras only 1. The design of the interface is gimmicky and its more cumbersome than what it needs to be. When I try to view video files the app stalls and doesn’t register my taps. Frankly I should have bought a ring indoor camera because the developer team is much bigger and updates the app more often.
Cameras are nice but the app is terrible.

When the app works, it performs on par. Too many times have I tried to respond to a movement alert just to sit waiting for the app to load and then fail. Someone could completely sweep the place before this app boots and shows me a live feed. Takes 30 seconds or more to load every time, which is far too long in the instance of an emergency.
bought 8525 dlink camera about a year ago

bought dlink 8525 last black Friday 2018, in one year every time I try to use the app it goes to loading and if you put your phone down and come back 1/2 hour later, still loading, the only time it will work is when I and at home sitting next to it, sent emails to support, not one answer, for me this is the most useless app I have ever had, I can not see how Apple would have something like this on the app store, 1 star is the lowest I can go, in reality I would give it a minus 100, if you want a camera that will work when you are sitting next to it, this is for you, if you want one to watch your home buy something else, no support, not even a reply after a year, absolutely useless

A very slow, lagging app. Takes forever to load a live stream video feed even on fast internet Update 29DEC2019: 2 to 1 Star. On fios high-speed internet, so I know it’s the app. Takes forever to load video even when just switching between cameras.
Not worth it

It was ok for the first week or so and then completely stopped working. Almost like all of my settings were cleared out and now unresponsive. I can still view the camera but that’s it. Alerts stopped coming about half way through my vacation which was quite unnerving. There’s better products out there for less at this quality.
