Annoyed

laundry freak

I had a driver say they couldn’t take me and my laundry to the laundromat because Lyft has new protocol due to Covid, if that’s the case then customers should be informed!! I couldn’t even review that man, he didn’t even cancel the ride and I had to.. even got charged a cancellation fee for a ride I didn’t get. Your drivers are unprofessional.

I had a horrible experience with a driver in which I politely asked if he would mind turning down the radio as it was early in the morning. He said no, ‘it’s fine as.’ I didn’t say anything in response. Then he said ‘you no what, just get out.’ I was running late to work and said ‘no it’s okay, it’s not a big deal.” He said no and canceled the ride. I got out and disputed the charge but it is still charging me. Lyft did not respond and has no way of contacting even though I have disputed the charge many times via the app.

It keeps charging me for an extra 24 dollars every ride I take and there’s no number to call besides my bank and they keep sending me new cards


Nightmare ride and impossible to contact customer service

Have enjoyed Lyft so far - until tonight’s ride. Booked from home to Miami airport - straight road, did many times, especially on Uber. Asked driver why he was taking backroads route but given his inability to speak English, I understood it was for the rain or traffic. Once I realized his phone Lyft App had programmed Miami Airport AA CARGO location instead of AA Departures, we had been going in circles for more than half an hour. I barely made it to the airport and plane, and frankly it was not so much the driver fault but the app fault, directing him to cargo instead of passengers departures. Had he spoken English, I might have been able to solve the issues earlier. What I however realized is that the app has no emergency phone contact , no email for assistance or complaints, no customer service, only comments for certain limited issues. And it scared me for future use. And that’s a huge safety concern

A recognition of effort of Jose in Pasadena

Today I arranged a ride for a disabled friend with lots of luggage and a difficult pick up around noon. She got the personalized service she needed and Jose graciously took on the multiple steps to complete the job. At the end I learned that Jose knew he was going to be dinged by management in the basis of the total time required to complete the ride, all of which was related to the complexity of the rider’s needs. I looked to find a way to signal to “management” about the nature of the delay but only found avenues to lodge complaints. I have no idea if this review will be visible to or noticed by management but it is all I can do beyond the message I left on the Lyft FaceBook page. Thank you Jose.


Wrong destination.

I chose to go to Bush International Airport but the app took the driver to somewhere else, 6 miles away from the terminal. Luckily I had some extra time. I was also charged an high fare for extra miles and rerouting.
