This app is an unnecessary, unreliable, and all around bad idea. Sorry to the devs, I’m sure your worked hard on your app, but you shouldn’t have chosen to work on such a garbage idea/money grab (the app is free, but the data that Lionsgate sells from users is not), which is why your work is getting downvoted to oblivion.

This is a complete utter waste of time. The codes don’t work. For some reason, the app needs to know your location, which is stupid. This app literally has no value whatsoever.

The app insists on your GPS location and an email address just to redeem a code I already paid for. No thanks.

I don’t think this app deserves so many 1 star reviews. I got my digital copy, at the end of the day (or at the end of 5 minutes of trying). The reason this is only 3 stars is because the alphanumeric code did not work for me. However, I was still able to scan the QR code from the insert and redeem my movie on VUDU.

Could not scan the code for the digital copy and it also provides no support to manually enter the code. Waste of time.

This is a stupid app that shouldn’t exist. I got all three John Wick movies, JW 1 and 2 had codes like normal movies to just put into iTunes, yet this one requires you to use this app, and then it gives you the code to redeem it. THEY EVEN MAKE YOU GIVE THEM YOUR EMAIL, even though they don’t email you the code, they just give it to you. It says they will send you their spam if you redeem and probably will sell it too. Disgusting practice lions gate...

The app asks for your location... why does it need that? It makes no sense. As soon as you download it you’re bombarded with a bunch of requests to access stuff on your phone. The only way you can redeem your code includes signing up for the “optional” emails from Lionsgate and affiliates. Which means if you want to access the movie you already paid for, you have to “voluntarily” opt in. Then when I did all that it said my code had already been redeemed. So in short it was an utter and absolute waste of time and my inbox will probably soon be flooded with emails from Lionsgates affiliates. If you read all these reviews and decide that you want to take the chance so you can download your movie, just don’t. Save yourself the hassle.

Don’t make me download your proprietary app to redeem a simple BluRay code. Let me redeem at whatever site I want like it used to be. Also this virus wants location info and access to the whole phone. No.
