The first and BIG issue is it even don’t connect to a tv on same network99.99% times even the TV is ON. Once I can find the TV on this app, I will post further experience.

Location Services Required?

I’m not giving permissions for location services just to try a TV app. I fail to see the reason why one can’t use this app without location services turned on. I’m out.

This remote is worthless. I love webOS. It's by far the best TV OS, and the only smart tv I was willing to purchase, as LG makes quality TV's, and Scamscum's interfaces are awful, but the remote control app is literally worthless. Ideally, the app would remember the TV I'm connected to, and I could do things like power on the TV from the app. Why isn't there a widget? Other developers have made one, so this is just laziness from LG. The app doesn't remember the TV you last connected to, and the app feels like I have to go out of my way to make use of it instead of it being a convenience. It's awful, and I really wish it remembered the TV you are connected to, allowed you to power on the TV, easily pull up the keyboard, added an option to actually restart the TV for software updates, and had a working widget. It would actually be a convenience having the app if it had these features.

It's okay. Many had complained that they could not connected when the TV was turned off. It seems that it has been improved. However, it always asks if you want to connect to the previously connected TV even when the TV is already turned on. Why can't it figure out such a basic thing? At first a few times it felt okay. Now getting increasingly annoying.

Every time I use the app it says to connect to WiFi when I already am on WiFi and then I can’t connect to the tv. This app hasn’t been working for the past couple of months. Please fix this.

It has ability to turn LG tv on. Then it says no connection and asking to connect to Wi-Fi. Seems this app is outdated.

I got this because I didn’t have the controller to the tv and I wanted to turn it on and watch some tv but it doesn’t let you connect to it without the tv being on... so I really don’t understand how I’m supposed to use this. Once you do get into the app it’s good you can use the remote well but I don’t understand how I’m supposed to even use it in the first place
