With iOS13, things have taken a turn for the worse. In Settings, I can see that the hearing aids are connected and I can adjust the volume and mode. But this app reports “hearing aids not connected” and the app just does nothing.

App is useless. My hearing aids no longer connect to my phone. The phone streams to the hearing aids but I hear NOTHING!!! I’m better off using AirPods and leaving them in my ears so I can answer the phone and hear the conversation. I opted for these hearing aids because of the versatility but obviously it was a waste of money.

Ever since I got this, it regularly FAILS to even connect via Bluetooth. And when it does, after sone time, it DISCONNECTS. Does this represent the new standard and level of Costco quality—similar to their failure to connect the dishwasher we also foolishly bought from them. Should I also worry about food safety? Thanks to another irate user, I have now DELETED this piece of junk and simply use the built in iPhone accessibility controls under General This works for calls and even the TV streaming device though without some volume and bass/treble controls (which were never very useful) but far far better than this app which was driving me crazy. Whoever was responsible for this needs to find a different career after they presumably will be appropriately terminated.

This is an review update, I finally got home from traveling, and was able to delete and reinstall this app. Once reinstalled, it works perfectly. My hearing aids will now pair with my phone with no problems, and will stay connected. All incoming phone calls and streaming works, and I can fine tune my hearing aids as before. Great app once again. ———original review———— I just updated the app and now the app just hangs upon startup. It never gets past the splash logo of a graphic ear. It doesn’t respond to any finger taps. The only thing I can do is swipe up to delete it. The app interface from the Control Center still works and is the only way to semi-control the hearing aids.

If you have an IPhone I would suggest looking somewhere else. The hearing aid won’t stay connected to the phone or only work part time when I’m on the phone.

Downloaded the latest version. It hangs and doesn’t work. Previous 3.0 versions worked fine. Keep your older version! Don’t update until it is fixed.

App keeps cratering. Have to delete it and reinstall. Have done this several times. What a nuisance.

I could love the app if it would automatically pair with my hearing aids every day. But each day I have to first “force close” the app, then re-open the app and reconnect. And then during the day the connection breaks as soon as I’m too far (30’) from my phone. The old app made the connection every day and held on to it. The app has some really nice features that could help me tailor my hearing aids to my environment. I would be terrific if it hung on to the connection. Hoping for an update!

Like others the app needs serious update. Unlike other Costco products the App for their hearing aids is not top notch. Even though I can use accessibility in settings to set volume and preset environments most of the time I have to uninstall and reinstall the app to take advantage of all of the features. I have an iPhone XR with the latest IOS installed. Costco needs to solve this.
