I initially had problems pairing with the new app too. I found that I had to put my phone closer to the hearing aids to get the app to show the pairing. Once it paired the first time it now pairs without a problem. I am using iOS 12.1.4 on iPhone XS. I hope this helps those having problems. I like the noise filter and the speech clarity features. Everything is easy to acess. Great new app!

Other than the app design looks different, connectivity issues still exist. With new batteries in the hearing aid, in the same location in the house, I can check the app one time and it will show connected and a little while latter show not connected. This issue is worse than the previous version. Still having problems with delays in receiving calls over Bluetooth connection. This has been an ongoing problem since the last app update. Thought that I had it solved by turning Bluetooth off other devises but with this new app the problem has come back.

New app which downloads to iPhone automatically was garbage. I called the Resound support number, which is on the web site which is linked to the support page in the app, and actually got a person who walked me through a number of steps which involved disconnecting the Bluetooth connection between the phone and the aids, rebooting the phone, and re-pairing the aids. It worked! There are new features in the new app which I will never use, and I would prefer the simplicity of the old app, but when I asked if I could somehow get the old version back, she said always forward, never back!

Old app was much quicker in pairing with my h. aids, on old iPhone 5c. I would like to get the old app back, personally.

The latest update will not pair with my hearing aids. Completely different looking app. Previous update worked fine. Now I have no control like before.

My old app disappeared and was replaced with this new one. It is a piece of junk. Don’t waste your time.

This new version of the app is terrible. When Bluetooth is On, the app takes away control of your hearing aids. This makes the control buttons on the aids themselves non-functional and keeps you continuously in iPhone mode. Only solution is to turn off Bluetooth when you are anywhere near your device. Useless.
Update not working

IPhone 6S iOS 12.1.4: Choice was working great until recent auto update one day. It looks sexy in the demo mode but when I try to leave demo the app wants me to reboot and that never gets me anywhere. Developer: what’s up? I miss the previous version, which worked great for adjusting bass, treble, volume, etc! Help!
