Keeps me strong + motivated!

arlo_123

For the past many years, my only workouts have been high-intensity, interval training classes at local gyms. The gym I was a member of recently closed, and I decided to give home workouts a try. After trying a few apps/subscription services, I came across Keelo, and it has been awesome so far. I love how the workouts are structured into preprogrammed segments and activity type (it’s big bonus for me over apps like Nike Training), and how variations are offered. I also enjoy the community element, and huge cost savings (I had been paying $85-135 per month previously - yikes). I feel motivated to workout solo, which never happened prior to this app due to feeling like I had no idea what I was doing. Keelo meets me at my level and pushes me. Something I wish Keelo offered is the ability to scale back on a workout (not a variation - just an easier workout programmed). Some days I don’t want to rest, but also don’t want to go hard. Being able to choose beginner level workouts would be awesome. I’d also love more equipment-free and mobility-focused workouts added. Thanks Keelo team!

Perfect

Busy Dad with busy kids. I use this early morning before the day and it’s the perfect workout. I wake up to what I need to do for exercise instead of deciding when I hit the garage gym! Great app and easy to follow. Thanks

Great app watch features.

Terrific Apple Watch features. Easily the best I’ve used. However the way the workouts are put together are nonsensical and there’s no discernible profession model. The manual option (using favorited exercises) helps overcome this to a point but those who don’t want to follow the “program” (which I use extremely useless because there really is no program) still have to pay $13 a month. Splitting it into manual mode and program mode users would be a potentially more reasonable way to go in the future. On a second note the customer service I’ve experienced has been extremely rude in many cases. Suggesting a feature or idea is met with ridicule and curt objection as to why you are wrong for even suggestion the app isn’t perfect. I highly recommend not reaching out to support and just try figuring things out for yourself. App could be great but developers seems more interested being “right” then getting it right.

CrossFit and weightlifting combined

lateasever

First week in and enjoying the course. Pick your gym gear, 1 rep maxes and go. 2 weeks in and continuing to gain strength and get fitter. Love the variety and motivation with others my age and fitness level on there too. Love not having to plan my own programs, program spreadsheets, balance body part etc. the whole experience is as close to perfect as an app can get other than holographing a coach into my garage.

Realistically and feature you'd really want to use is hidden behind $13/month. Might as well make it a paid app.

Great APP

Nawlinz

This is the best app for CrossFit. It has a great variety of WODs and so much more.

I realize the need to keep your sets within the timeframe however sometimes something comes up and it would be nice to pause the workout.

Simple, effective & never boring

I’ve been using Keelo for over a year now & I’ve not had one repeated wod. This app has everything you need. Select what equipment you have, movements you want or don’t want & a wod is generated for you. I love that I can use my Apple Watch and or my iPhone.
