To advertise that the Sony a5100 is able to send picture via WiFi straight to a smart phone is a SCAM! This app doesn’t even have the option to put in the cameras password so the app can access the photos! It just keeps asking for a QR code WHICH MY CAMERA DOES NOT HAVE!!!!!

This app simply cannot be made to connect either my older iPad or my iPhone X to my Sony a7R III.

Such a huge disappointment that I cannot shoot in manual mode with a custom PP setting. No video options, no customization options. For god sakes, I can control the motors on my gimbal within seconds with a wireless connection.... How is it not possible to make an iPad record video wirelessly on a Sony a series yet? Sony, I have personally spent $15-$20k on Sony equipment, so please give us a functioning app soon.
Misguided ambition
I have used Panasonic, Canon, and Olympus’s apps, and they are all far better than this one. I have the a7r3 and you can’t touch to focus, which is crazy! And if you choose to download the full size, it still restricts it to 2mb file size.

As usual, a company has added what looks like functionality to a device, without accomplishing the goal of adding the function. Don’t bother downloading this.

I use this app for transferring pictures from my camera to my smart phone. It is easy to do that, however, it is very difficult to identify which dates/folders I have previously transferred. Also, the folders of pictures do not show up in any logical order. My folders of pictures from three years ago appear intermixed with my pictures from yesterday. In the app, there does not appear to be a way to sort the pictures or to mark the folder as “transferred“. Both of these features would be incredibly useful.

Sony need to fix the auto connection functionality for the GPS location info. It’s disconnects occasionally and doesn’t automatically reconnect.
