Where is the A73 touch focus?!

Bluetimejt

All seems to work pretty good but I can’t figure out how to do touch focus on the phone app? I see it in the example picture on the iTunes Store but definitely don’t see it on my phone when connected to the new Sony A73! This is a must have!

Transfer and Control

Zinorl

Image transfer seems more reliable than when I used to use EyeFi for my Canon 7Dii BUT I can't transfer raw and get low-res jpeg instead. Also please add some type of intervalometer control on the app since we can no longer get PlayMemories on the newer Sony cameras... or at least update the camera's firmware to do this.

Unreliable to download photo from camera to phone

Maylie

Pls don’t try download over 100 photo from camera to phone, u will end up stop in middle... the software has no feature to avoid duplicated photo be downloaded ..

Isn’t user friendly and doesn’t work

KelseyAnn12345

This app is terrible. It’s not user friendly at all. All I want to do is transfer my pictures from my camera to my phone, right? Well. It’s not easy at all. There is no easy way to save photos to your phone. I have to literally send them as a text message to myself and then save them. It’s terrible. And it just stops working 90% of the time.

This software is broken and unusable - random gps connectivity

iPhone User +

The software for iOS is broken, location information linkage (GPS) works on occasion but you cannot rely on it to always work and capture / store location information with your photos. There is no way to get it working either when you discovered your camera is not linked. Turning off your camera / closing app is not resolving it - it will randomly work or not (mostly not work), Sony - please fix this!

Keep disconnecting on A7III

ivanchu23

I was able to connect the location linking for my iPhone X to the A7III, but it keeps disconnecting every time when I look down on the camera. Please please fix it, this is frustrating.

It needs tremendous overhaul.

Joseff3346

It does not work. It will aggravate you trying to make it work with a6500 if you have this camera.

Hard to believe Sony offers this

iayork

It’s 2018. You take for granted that a corporation will offer minimal competence in an iOS app. This app not only doesn’t teach the minimal competence you expect from a multinational company, it’s not why you’d expect two high school students to put together in their bedroom. What did I expect from this app? The ability to transfer a photo from my camera to my iPhone. This worked. I then expected to be able to transfer it to my photo library. Nope. That’s bare minimum functionality right there and you can’t do it. Then I expected to (wait for it) delete the photo from the app. Nope. No way to delete. It’s sitting there on my phone forever. I’ll repeat that. You transfer photos to your phone. You can’t delete them from the app. I guess once you run out of space on your phone you delete the app and reinstall? Or what? I could say more but I’m just so stunned by this that I’m speechless. Has someone played a practical joke on Sony? Has one of their competitors slipped this app in so they look bad? It’s impossible to picture the process by which a company could have approved putting their name on this app.

I love the app but ...

The ultimate apple fanboy

Please update the app to be compatible with the iPhone X. Suggestion you can have the developers that work on iOS apps develop apps when you can find a way to use them through this app. There no such thing as impossible just solutions. Thanks for these amazing cameras. Proud owner of an A7rlll.

Never Connects!

jonahpauline

There are so many issues with this app yet their apps that sell products are feature rich and easy to use. A simple photo transfer should be much simpler than Sony’s attempt with their WiFi connect. So disappointing.
