Before I speak with an travel agent, I go to hopper and search for flight and resort prices. I’ve gotten so really great deals off hopper, so I continue to use them and recommend them to friends ?

Purchased 6 roundtrips to Barcelona for me and my family last year. Airline cancelled due to the pandemic back in September 2020. It is now February 2021 and Hopper has not refunded me, even after the airline provided the cancellation codes with refund approvals. Luckily I purchased 3 of the tickets with my debit card and was able to dispute the charges with my bank and got that portion back. Still waiting for the remainder. Reached out to “customer support” last Saturday and it is now Wednesday and they don’t even have to decency to reply. DO NOT PURCHASE FLIGHTS WITH THIS APP. Unless you are wealthy and don’t care about getting reimbursed.

I price freeze a flight to Puerto Rico. The flight was $117 a person and I put a $270 credit that I was told would be applied to my flight. I booked the flight in the time frame to get my credit. But no my credit was not applied. They charged me full price for the flight and kept my $270. I was charged $887. No customer service. Sent a email and weeks later still no response. A STRAIGHT SCAM.

Tried booking a ticket, some amount was charged to my CC although ticket was never confirmed. The reason I’m giving this service 1 star is because it seemed impossible to get in touch with someone to fix this issue. The service asks me to tip money which I am totally ok with provided the service is good but what grinds my gears is I need to pay for VIP support. Support is not something you should be charging people extra for while making normal support confusing and/or inaccessible. This app has scam written all over it.

I attempted to book a flight through hopper. I pressed confirm and then received an email that the flight did not book/was not confirmed due to some kind of error. I then went to another website and booked. About 20 min later, i got a confirmation from hopper that I was confirmed for a flight. There must have been some kind of glitch in the app, however hopper is refusing to refund or help. So maybe use this to see when to book your flight, but DO NOT book via hopper unless you want to have them take your $$. I will certainly never be booking via hopper again.

I had booked a trip for March 2020 to Canada. Because of covid, the flight was canceled by the airline. I have been trying for literally almost a year to get a refund or even some response from Hopper. Using their messaging system on the app, it always gives an automated message saying to expect a response is 24 hrs but I have never gotten a single response. Extremely disappointed with this poor customer service.

Don’t buy flights off here big rip off

I purchased a flight in December for my birthday trip pre-covid and had to cancel due to COVID-19. I have about $400 in travel credit that has not yet been reimbursed or been able to apply towards a new trip. If you utilized the “contact us” you will only receive automated messages and a message that says you just wait at least 15 business days to hear back to which I haven’t heard back from. Apparently if you repeat claims it makes the process longer so you cannot re-file complaints to get quicker service. I filed a report and was informed I would receive a response within 24-hrs, that was over a week ago. Great for tracking flights however DO NOT PURCHASE FLIGHTS THROUGH HERE, they do not want you to get your money/travel credits. This flight was in December, its February and I still have not received any assistance nor spoken to an actual person. It’s a red flag they do not have any phone number just an email and the chat within the app for assistance which only gives you automated messages. They do not care about their customers. Just track your flights with google flights and purchase elsewhere! Edited: my confirmation is WBHDNE and it is over two weeks since I wrote this review and I finally got a response asking to update w the Hopper confirmation on the review, yet still have yet to hear from any customer service directly
