It seems there are only a few of my connections that are being scrutinized by Hiya. Still getting a lot of spammers and marketing types
Why one star?

Because although the app did some stuff well, it wasn’t great. I decided to cancel my subscription and delete the app. After several weeks of no voicemail, I received a text from hiya saying I had 14 voicemails and in order to listen to them, open the Hiya app. The app completely hijacks your phone in the background and does not let it go, even after uninstalling it.
Doesn’t work anymore

The app doesn’t seem to work anymore. Robo calls are no longer listed as possible spam. The app keeps wanting me to use its call screener which I don’t want. Many of my customers have multiple lines. I don’t want them screened if they call from a line not in my contacts. The app used to be great but keeps locking up
