Slow slow slow

I will not renew my subscription to this app. It has become increasingly slow to respond with searches and labeling. I leave it open in the background as designed and it works to block callers. Just painfully unresponsive within the app on my iPhone 13.

It just doesn’t work

Even with the premium version, you can only block so many numbers in the neighborhood scam protection. And that’s what I cared about most.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS APP, KEEP LOOKING.

... GOOGLE the ph# ..get much better results! .UPDATE.. Still catches no spam calls. They all get thru and ring. This does not catch any spam texts either. I can see I need to find another way of looking up unknown numbers. This sometimes, shows you where the call is from. Anything else you have to pay preminm service. Which the way this app is failing, I could not imagine premium would be of any good either. I am DELETING.... Update... This app does not catch a single spam caller. I have this set to Block all spam calls. Does nothing. They are forcing you to pay for this app. I believe it still would not block or catch any spam calls still. VERY DISSAPOINTED I would like to know how these people are getting this app to stop all spam calls. It certainly is not doing this here. They are moving all the features to the PAID PREMIUM version. This at least finds the number, when you "copy" a # from your call log, and searches from there. All other apps you have to punch in a # to have the app search, only to say "# not found". You get that alot here too. There is not any app your going to find to look up a # without paying for it. I had this app when it used to be "white page lookup". It was free, and you usually got a name or bussiness, or let you know it was spam caller. All that went away when it changed to Hiya

It not free. hiya 1-2does nothing

True buddy

Use it only when you want Premium. Or give it one star for not free. Free option will blocks any calls. But you can always give it one star.

Doesn’t do any thing.

I’ve been the victim of several very prominent bats breaches and I get a ton of spam calls (four or five a day) so I’ve been running Hiya for about a year. In all that time it marked its first call as possible spam yesterday... That’s one call in 1200 or so. Absolutely worthless.

Good app

Good free app. From 6 or more to none to one. Get this app.

Ok

Some numbers are ID’d , many aren’t . Honestly my carriers Premium caller ID worked better.Would be nice to have a simple Whitelist/blacklist.

Annoying messages though partially effective

While this app does seem to occasionally warn me of a suspected spam call, that is over ridden by the near daily messages to update the database, scolding me for ‘force quitting’ the app which supposedly keeps it from updating in the background. As I typically go into airplane mode during business meetings, I can only assume it’s takes that moment to try and background update while offline. Is it worth it? Hard to say but they need to do some more testing of both error conditions as well as user messaging in my opinion

Limited value

I still get a lot of marketing, fraud, and robot calls.

Good protection

Using the free version for the past two weeks. So far...so good.
