Three sliders for Red, Green and Blue plus one Alpha control. Gives a value read out. Look at all the pretty colors! Millions of combinations and it's all for free!
Doesn't even use real RGB colors: the bars go up to 1.00 when they really should be going up to 255. That is how normal RGB colors go.
This app displays values as needed by an iOS programmer. I had noticed most others did not have the uicolor format and didn't feel like doing the math inline. Now I won't have to, and I'll be able to see the colors on the device. It works as advertised, and it's free, so what more could one ask for?
Yes, it should go up to 255, but try explaining that to students. Scaling it to one makes this app easy for my students to relate too. More importantly, they see that red, green, and blue make white. Minus a star for no explanation page.
Very simple and nice. Just curious on the use of the alpha channel - what do users so with it?
Sliders do not paint in iOS 8 No sliders draw. No way to adjust colors.
