I purchased the $14.99 yearly cost and it’s been a waste of money. This app is not blocking anything. I’m getting constant unknown and Robo calls don’t waste your money!

I like this app but it is missing one critical feature- being able to block all numbers from a specific area code. I specifically chose a phone number from an area code in a different state for this exact reason. Anytime I see that area code pop up I can quickly silence the phone. It would be VERY helpful if Hiya had the feature to block specific area codes.

The word FREE is confusing

This App is not what you think FREE is. The App is not user friendly and it does not work as described, so far has only taken up space on my device. I switched phone service from Verizon to Xfinity mobile only to get a bunch of annoying sales calls and individuals pishing for information to try to scam what money they can get. So xfinity -mobile told me about the free app that xfinity mobile has been working with as a joint effort to prevent this from happening. A complete waste of time. The only way this app will work is you have to pay out the nose monthly to get the FREE service promised by xfinity mobile. Makes me think that xfinity mobile gets kick backs on every phone that installs this app. I wouldn’t think that if “this app actually worked for free”as promised. It feels pretty bad when you can’t trust your own phone service to be better than the last as Xfinity mobile promised.

App no longer functions at all. Never really blocked calls but at least I could report and block spam calls and text. Now once the app loads you can’t change from function to function at all. Tried the various solutions including deleting the app restarting the phone and reinstalling. I’ve deleted it for good and cancelled my premium subscription. I’ll have to find something else to replace it. Such a shame. iPhone X.

This app keeps blocking phone numbers from a Blood Donation Service I donate to reminding me of appointments and special donations.

Don’t get this app. You’ll waste your time.

I’ve had this app on my phone before but I did not get a chance to try out it’s features. Free or otherwise. I’ve been having trouble with spam calls as of late. Even though there is a silent unknown call feature in iOS, the problems just seem to get worse. So I re-download this app and of course did follow the instructions. I tried twice. It never sent me a code so that I could verify my phone number. So I guess this app is really broken. Don’t download it. You’ll waste your time and pull out your hair.

Latest update is freezing screen

This is the only way to contact HIYA. The newest update is freezing screen. Trying to follow steps and get as far as block unknown calls - I do t want to auto block these as this is also my work number. But it sticks on that screen and I cannot go further or use any other function. Since I am paying for a subscription it is annoying that I cannot trace a number. Please advise.
