Suddenly Stopped Working

I put my son down for a nap, used the app to set it to his nap setting and by the time he woke up it had completely stopped working. No amount of resetting or updating my wifi is getting it working again. Completely inexplicable and frustrating
New update resets everything

Normally this app is really solid. The latest update erased all connectivity to all devices. Everything had to be factory reset to recover which took hours to do. Beware updating to this version! Might want to skip or wait to update.
Sudden Connection Issue and Useless Troubleshooting

Have had our Rest+for less than a year. It has not changed spots since it was originally connected. Nothing with our internet has changed and suddenly during my daughters nap today , the app decided to no longer connect to the device. When opening the app it will not connect to the device but still shows it as an option on the list. We have reset it. We have tried re-pairing. We have even moved it closer to the router. Nothing is working. I am annoyed. The troubleshooting options are limited and don’t actually tell you what the issues are. It just tells you to reset or “have you tried turning it off and then on again?”. $70 for a sound machine/light that no longer does what it’s astronomical price is intended for. it was great until it wasn’t.

Two issues that prevent me from giving this 5 stars: the limited library of meditations, even after paying (and the free is a joke), and the Restore sound quality. The latter is not an app issue but I wrote their customer service and never heard back. The sound is so bad that in order to properly hear the meditation, I have to put it very loud, which is not very relaxing. Otherwise, I love the device (I do wish it was free from having to use the phone for a nightlight but that’s no a huge deal).

We waited to purchase until our 2year old understood “red means stop / sleep” and “green means go / get up” before we purchased to keep him in his room so he would stay in bed …. And we have been so successful and would highly recommend- so easy with the app, I do not dare enter the room when the light is red….
Rest Mini isn’t Worth it

I wanted my mini to be as simple and easy to use as the Hatch I have in the nursery. It’s not, and it wants me to pay a monthly subscription for a bunch of stuff I don’t want which makes the app too busy. If I wanted a bunch of bells and whistles I would buy something else. I just wanted the sound machine and now I have to navigate through ads. Also, biggest draw back, it only works when connected to WiFi. My regular Hatch only requires Bluetooth connection.
