Couldn’t get any better!

I absolutely love this sound machine! We started sleep training our baby boy at 7 months and this has been a true helping hand. The soothing sounds help him fall asleep and stay asleep! And the app is so easy to use. I couldn’t imagine not having it in our lives now!

The light and noise machine itself are great, no complaints! My review is specifically for the app to control the machine. Cons: The biggest source of frustration is that my app and the machine never seem to connect on the first try, sometimes not even until the third or fourth try (quit app, start over) even if I’m standing right next to the machine with my phone. It just spins. Sometimes I even have to start from the screen of pairing the machine all over again as if it’s a brand new machine by selecting if I’m using the Rest, Rest+, etc. Eventually it always finds the machine we have paired, but it’s frustrating when you’re trying to get a toddler in bed to have to stand there fiddling with an app. This is even more frustrating if I’m not right next to the machine and need to change something from outside my toddler’s room, because I can then never be quite sure if it’s actually gone through and made the change because I had such a hard time linking the app and machine. I have a brand new iPhone and the machine is also new within the last month, so no pairing/technology issues, just poor connectivity. Positives: I really like how you can control the volume and brightness. Super user friendly. The programs are easy to use and the sounds/colors are all standard, no weird up sell on the app. Even my toddler loves selecting the color, that’s how easy it is to use. :) Suggestion: suggestion add the ability to pre-program the machine when you’re not within Bluetooth distance. For example, while I’m at work and I realize I have an early morning meeting, I’d love to be able to adjust the times while I’m thinking about it instead of having to wait until I’m home and next to the machine. Maybe that’s possible, but if it is it’s not user friendly to figure out bc I can’t seem to access the machine if I’m not paired with it. Overall, okay user experience! Glad we have it and will continue to use, but it’s not quite to life changing status yet. :)

Major major major connectivity issues (we have incredible internet and still this thing barely connects to our phones), super slow app, not user friendly. Not one hand friendly. I genuinely want my money back.

I received my Hatch as a gift so I really cannot return it. The device is far too expensive for what is actually does. Paper instructions should be optional. The app is not user friendly. It took me awhile just to turn down the volume. It is annoying that the pop ups keep wanting you to sign up for more product that would eventually cost $60 a year! The sound quality is mediocre. The meditations are meh. Also the sounds seem to be on a rather short loop. For example the Prayer bowl pings much to often. This sound should have a ping and then a very long sustain. I am also concerned about the arbitration agreement one must agree to use the Hatch. This could be an issue especially for customers buying the baby product. Overall this product delivers much less than is advertised. Thanks for listening.

I love the machine and the app......however they need to fix the volume key. It is very difficult to adjust the volume. When my baby is sleeping and I accidentally slide the volume key too far, it scares my baby awake. It should be a dial instead of a sliding bar.

Our baby boy was born 8/28/20, LOVE this night light and sound machine. The hues are perfect brightness, the sounds a perfect soothe, together a perfect match! You will love this on all night and so will your baby! It would be awesome if the light went brighter. Since the volume goes much louder.

Works as expected but no alarm or beep sound. Helps with going to sleep but does nothing for waking up so I guess I got one of these things for sale.

Surprisingly little flexibility for the RESTORE

The app gives you shockingly few options to manage your Restore. Aside from your bedtime routine and alarm clock, you have no other options but to go in and manually set it to do whatever you want to do any other time of the day, and even then you have to act as if you’re modifying the “routine”, and then cancel the change when you’re done listening. No way!!! My son’s Hatch Rest has more options to quickly play a favorite setting, than this does. Too bad, because it’s very pretty. Just very clunky to use, when in theory if should be relaxing to use. This will be a real gem when they update the app to give us more options for the Restore.
