It’s great if used manually

The app wont rotate on an iPad, i use a keyboard like a laptop so it basically is useless until the learn to install common software that every other app has had for 10-12 years already. If I’m using it manually its great. My baby loves the light and the sounds. The sounds are very real actually. Especially the crickets and birds. The app though doesn’t work and this review is for the app.

This is a great app but the update made it annoying to use. Before the update, when I opened the app, it would go directly to my device. Now, it opens up to a menu where I have to select my one and only device. This is very annoying, considering I get in this app daily. If I had multiple devices, I'd understand, but if I have only one device registered, please do the right thing land me into my device directly. If someone wants to add another device, they can go to settings and add. If there are 2 or more devices registered, then show the menu on start up. Please fix.

The last update has been horrific. It has rendered this app just about useless. It used to work flawlessly prior to the update. I assume the app was update to accommodate the new model. I change the sound setting using the app to wake my baby up in the mornings. It can take 10+ min of fooling with the app to even get it to work. It literally causes me to wake up mad. Baby 2 is on the way and I will NOT be getting another one of these unless the app is fixed. GARBAGE.

I have to literally be in the nursery for the app to sync with my device, which makes the app worthless. Cannot believe the app is so slow and finnicky. If I’d known beforehand, I wouldn’t have purchased this device and I wouldn’t have bought it for friends off their registries. Do not recommend.

Born to Loose
First of all I think this device is awesome. The light is perfect. The color changing light is very well done. The touch ring loaded with favorites is great for nap time when I don't have my phone and need to set the stage for ?. I think the speaker is pretty good but the sounds loaded in the machine aren’t quite as good as they could be. Every day I wish it was a Bluetooth speaker. When I change volume it should increase gradually not all of a sudden, sometimes I want to sneak into my babies room and I want to increase the volume before entering without disturbing her. There should be a thunderstorm sleep noise. This is best for sneaking in the bedroom during nap or after bedtime.
