This app is so confusing and user-hostile that I can’t recommend it to anyone outside of a software engineer. Even then, good luck getting it programmed. Such a shame, because when you have it programmed correctly, it’s a fantastic experience. Logitech needs to hire a UI/UX expert and refactor this app.

I setup my Harmony Hub with the app as a new hub. After everything was saved, I thought I was done...until when I needed to change my settings. When I relaunched the app, it detected my hub, but wouldn’t connect to it no matter how many times I pressed the connect button. An icon was spinning with a message “scanning for hub”. This app didn’t work...

What kind of horrible app is this? The app failed to install my new hub after 2 tries. Now I’m stuck with a Harmony hub I cannot use.

Does it work? Eventually... This app is so slow it is almost not worth using. Once I got harmony connected to Alexa that was fine but using the app is mind numbing slow. This app spends more time connecting to harmony’s network and checking firmware than actually being useful. Harmony is great but a $20 knock off is better cause their apps work faster. ps did I mention the app is slow?

Just got this rebote as I needed one remote/setup for my cable box that’s behind a closed cabinet. Once I FINALLY got it set up, the remote does work. However, I can’t do anything beyond that such as edit/add an activity or another piece of equipment (Netflix, Apple TV, amazon echo) as it become stuck on “please wait, connecting to servers”....it never connects, even after multiple resets of everything.

Amazing how a multi million dollar company can’t have an app that works properly

Upgraded Harmony home to the Harmony 950 for Christmas 2018. Stopped working completely July 2019 - further, the ir end got extremely hot. Hub configuration "died", too - it is unable to remove the dead remote and unable to reconfigure the hub as it dead-ends trying to connect the dead remote. Logitech's app gives you no way around this. Reloading the software is useless unless you create a new email address (it prompted me to log in, then dead ended again). Support links on logitechs website do nothing until you allow unfettered cookies and disable pop-up blocking (Bing). Help desk attempted to reroute me to a reboot cycle that's failed repeatedly. Harmony products are a great idea ruined by glitchy firmware, poorly designed software and dreadful customer service.

This keeps happening again and again. It will not control everything. It works fine for a while then it stops. When I go in the app to try and reconfigure it, it says connecting to server and it never does. I’be rebooted the hub again and again still won’t work. I have to delete the app and download again. But when I go in to try and edit, it says connecting to server. And I can’t get out of it. 20 minutes later it’s still trying to connect to server. So I have to delete app and download where it still does same thing. Anyone has a better one I can buy because this is really a horrible device.

The app is just stuck at 25% download of configuration. For the money that I’ve spent on this thing there has to be better support! Horrible customer service. All they told me is to restart / reset. I’ve tried everything but nothing works!

Wow.... what an unbelievable hunk of junk this app is. The developers should be ashamed of themselves or the company needs to put more resources into it instead of some dude who just learned to develop in iOS from his garage!!!!!
