Connecting the app to the hub is flawed. Sometimes it connects, most of the time it doesn’t. Was working fine for me until I had to reset my hub. Now it won’t connect at all.


App stuck

App is stuck on “checking for changes please wait”. Force close it, reopen it and same thing again. Have the devs abandoned this app?

I can’t set up my new Harmony Elite. App is terrible, no feedback and just errors out constantly without explanation. If there isn’t another way to configure the Elite I’m sending it back.


2.4GHz only WiFi?

Whatever update you recently did made this app horrible. I can’t connect to anything. Just keeps timing out. What a complete joke.

Can not connect to the hub after initial setup

Got a new iPhone 8. Downloaded the app, the app just get stuck scanning for it. So did the folllowg - reboot and hit the pair button, choose connec to hub, no luck - hit the pair and choose setup new hub, ahh a bit luck. Get to the choose WiFi option, connect it to my 2.4ghz WiFi , next screen say to has existing config, choose connect or setup new and over write. Choose connect and it’s back to square one scanning for hub. Did it again and choose overwrite config and do new, get back to scanning hub. - hard reset with power off, hold pair button, plug power in. Choose setup new hub, connect the hub to WiFi, choose to connect to existing Logitech account and restore settings, after setting restore, app goes back to scanning for hub Useless piece of crap app. Fix it will ya!! Geez!!


Easy to set up if you already have a Harmony

Set up was a breeze! Plugged in the Hub, installed the App on my iPhone, imported my settings from my old Harmony, and was done. Installed the app on my iPad, and all settings followed. My husband and I did make our cable box crazy, simultaneously testing, so had to reboot it, but that was our fault. The remote is old school, no GUI or favorites on it, but the App takes care of that (for those like me that don’t memorize station numbers).

This is the worst app in the App Store by far, it has so many problems. The UI looks like 1992, the app always has to sync up with some nonsense remote service which takes forever, there’s no easy way to configure your Harmony remote, half the time the settings don’t save as expected! Truly awful.
