Slick app

I have the hub hooked up for my entertainment center. Set up with no issues over a year ago. Just upgraded TV. New TV works fine. Would be even better with an Apple Watch app!

I have two hubs for which I paid a lot of money. Because Logitech no longer has software that works with Catalina I have to use the app. After spending about an hour on the phone with customer service, they basically said “that’s all we can do.” The app spins endlessly trying to connect to the harmony server. Spins endlessly trying to connect to wi-fi. Spins endlessly trying to do anything. It is a worthless app. So now I have a worthless hub and remote that can’t even connect to, let alone control my new equipment. I’ve tried rebooting, resetting to factory settings and just about everything else. Bad software. Please make this stuff work so that my significant investment can actually work again.

This app is extremely poorly designed. As one example: if you mis-enter a password to access your account, you cannot renter it: it gets stuck in a loop. Even deleting and reinstalling the app did not help. What kind of developer and quality control would allow this level of incompetence? Logitech apparently.

I’ve had this for about 2 years. Lack of updates have been disappointing. The app has barely changed or made any improvements in that time. In fact I am having more disconnects and times where I need to restart the app than ever before. Disappointed. Better app support would fix these issues but it seems like they just want the initial cash from device purchase with no desire to improve the software. -Updated this to one star. If I could give it zero I would. I am floored by next to ZERO updates to functionality, just look at the version history - “bug fixes”. Logitech / Harmony, this truly makes me question buying any of your tech for the future. Will you support it? Add new features? Probably not, this thing has been mediocre at best with little likelihood for improvement.

Considering the money that you spend on this, it’s amazing that Logitech, a leader in technology, can’t do a better job. This thing won’t even setup. I’m no rookie when it comes to tech. I get constant errors.

Absolute fail they need to get out of the tech business and fine something they can actually do, perhaps banking because they’re great at taking your monies and you get nothing back!! The hub is connected green light neither android or iTunes can locate the hub though, reset, reset and restart over 2 hours and nothing !!! They expect you to use the app to setup, but they do not provide any alternatives when the app fails !!! They’re app developers have failed !!! No idea of the remote is any good, I’m guessing that it isn’t as this is to replace another older Harmony remote that is just as worthless. Do not invest in this, save your time.

Multiple issues with connectivity. Syncing issues. Desktop version no longer works on Mac Catalina. It’s junk!

I have been successful in controlling my Vizio TV, Apple TV, and Yamaha receiver all together in an activity, which is all I ever needed from my Harmony. FYI: for any new Apple TV users, you will need to remap the navigation buttons within the activity to the Apple TV ones. By default the app will use the TVs navigation buttons.
