The app offers a lot of creative options and is easy to use. I use it to take all my lecture notes.
Be Aware: G-5 Does NOT Support G-4 Styluses

SUPER frustrated. Why in the he__ __ would a developer go backwards and not support the technology supported in the previous version??? I researched and researched which stylus to buy. Finally went with the Adonis Pixel, which is supported by G-4. And after MUCH frustration, find out G-5 does not support the Pixel. The app I am using GoodNotes for only supports G-5 - another unfortunate. And, I spent a ton of time getting all of the materials downloaded to G-5. NOT a happy customer. ?
Great app, just wish for two pages on one screen capability!

Great for adding notes to slides and PDFS also love to add a note page behind a study guide to self-assess. It would be helpful if I could have the study guide and the added note page behind it next to each other on one screen so I can read one page and write in the added note page to answer the questions at the same time without scrolling between the two. Otherwise great app, love the cloud pairing between devices and folders and importance markers
I like the new upgrades and features

I hesitated in upgrading this app, but I finally gave in and updated it and I must say I have been happy with the new features so far. One thing that I just noticed today was the availability of so many more different fonts. I downloaded a font on my iPad about a year ago that I really liked however I was not able to use it, with this new upgrade, I like the fact that I can not only use this font, but also set it as a default. I like that everything is on the banner bar, and to access other features is just the simple tap of the object. I like the variety of notes pages and layouts. I eagerly looking forward to discovering more features with this new upgrade.

Appli tres pratique pour la prise de notes pro, avec a mon sens la meilleure couverture et balance des fonctionnalités clefs de prise de notes manuscrites (très naturelles avec apple pen), reconnaissance de caractères (même si on aimerait la fonctionnalité permettant d’échanger en direct entre texte manuscrit et résultat OCR sans de complexes copier-collers, gestion de templates « fond de page » facilement personnalisables par import sous pdf (mais une bibliothèque plus étendue de templates standard serait la bienvenue, et la compatibilité avec formats pdf paraît très sensible aux paramètres de génération du pdf), gestion des vues de documents permettant d’ouvrir plusieurs cahiers en parallèle et de passer de l’un à l’autre facilement (mais la fonction « split view » au sein même de l’appli serait la bienvenue, et le déplacement des pages entre cahier reste un peu lourde, avec copier-coller-supprimer...). En somme, l’appli la plus équilibrée qui gère bien toutes ces fonctions, en faisant pour moi la meilleure du marché vs notability ou Nebo par exemple, mais un peu plus de développement de l’ergonomie (en faisant attention à conserver une interface intuitive) en ferait tout simplement le bench absolu. The automatic backup (into PDF) is the main reason I chose to use GoodNotes 4 over all other note APPs, but it was cut off from GoodNotes 5.
