Why no recording ability?

The recording aspect is seriously the only reason I’m using notability. Please, please, can’t you put it in the next update?
Taking notes is a joy!

This app makes taking nots truly a joy! For me, the only thing that’s missing is a way to insert shapes (like you would do in word). They have a function to snap lines into a shape, but I can never get a perfect square, circle, star etc. I’d love the functionality of inserting commonly used shapes - that would make this a five star app for me!
GoodNotes 4 is great but GN5 is AWFUL

GN5 does not save your files. Don’t use it until they fix the problem.

Edit: Jan 28, 2020 Some features I commented on are now here. It doesn’t seem as buggy when you create a notebook with no goodnotes4 legacy pages/notebooks. No random jumps so far in page scrolling. Now there’s auto sync with google drive and Dropbox! Finally!!! Only problem is sometimes it’s laggy when I circle text to move. Also it would be nice if there was a way to only highlight hand notes instead of highlighted notes. Also, when scrolling vertically it would be nice if I can transfer one circle notes to a separate page instead of copy and pasting. ————— I love using good notes 5 as my note taking app. I love the highlighter, writing experience, and the file organization. My first gripe is how buggy the app is. Sometimes my text does not load when I swipe to view a page. All I get is a white page. In goodnotes 4 this never happened. This especially happens when I want to use vertical scrolling. Next is sometimes the app does this spasm of making three identical pages and also scrolling non stop to the first page. This is critical bug I hope they can fix. Next is how there is no auto back up to Dropbox or google drive. I like to view my notes on my computer and also it gives me security if having notes backed up. Also I wish they didn’t take away the feature to make perfect boxes in the highlighter tool. Now my highlighted boxes aren’t perfectly perpendicular :( I also wish they would have horizontal continuous scrolling instead of just vertical scrolling. These aspects make remembering notes more continuous rather than abrupt single page looking only.

I love this app I only wish it has more pen options like calligraphy as so many others have! This keeps everything in one

The app is good. I really wish there were much more pen pencil options like graphite pencil which is a must if you are mimicking the note taking experience. I saw so many people asking for it, why don’t you include it?

The only thing I’m not happy about is that it doesn’t support multitask, always one task shows on the screen. I can only work on one note and if I wanna work on another at the same time I need to change to another, it really bothers me.
