Great app, two suggestions

ddash

This note taking app is one of the best I have ever used. No false input and good options for paper type and organization. However, I the following two features would be very helpful: 1. Option to make a notebook page infinite length 2. Ability to shrink or zoom in the selected text (to make more space on making a note later, if there is no space left on the page)

Crashing Regularly & Lag

Sunny해

At first it used to crash when adding a new page to my notebook but now Goodnotes4 is crashing while writing notes! I’m worried it will affect me when taking notes during lectures. I’ve contacted support team and the developer asked for a support ID to look at logs; I haven’t yet heard back since then but waiting for updates that would resolve the issue. Other than the crashing issue, this app is wonderful for note taking. One small wish to add smart audio recording for optimal lecture note-taking experience. Thank you so much & I hope the crashing stops! EDIT; Some notebook pages lag tremendously. :(

Excellent Note taking app

I just recently entered university and was finding an app to take note for my lectures. Goodnote was able to provide me with the tools to take note easily and effectively. I can even use this to do my homework and print it out later. The only thing I would like the developers to add is a ruler. I know that the “auto straight line drawing” can be a substitute in drawing a straight line, but sometimes I want “aim straight” rather than “draw straight”. Other than that, this app is excellent.

Awesome App, Awesome Developers

This app is by far the best note taking app in the app store. I have tried notability, notes plus, notebook, evernote, penultimate, and ms onenote (pretty much all the note taking apps in the app store I guess). None work like goodnotes. Searchable notes is extremely useful especially if you forgot a theorem statement or exact definition of something. Inking is amazing, I dont have a very good handwriting, yet my handwritten HW submissions look unreal with the zoom option. The only missing feature is continuous scroll, hope it arrives soon.

Great app, only missing one thing

I love this app and use it daily for college note taking, but there is one thing I hope for in all paid apps and it's icon customization. Hoping that one day that gets pushed out, and you'll have a five star from me

Mostly awesome

I used to tote around colored pencils, pens and expensive notebooks to keep my biz and personal info ordered + do artwork. GoodNotes replaces all that. Please add: ability to move pages between notebooks (like Dropbox).

If you _really_ want to take notes

Musteion

If you want a boatload of “features” that you’ll never need, try another app. This one is for taking notes—and it excels at that. While I feel the app is geared more toward handwriting than text, there’s really nothing more you could want in a note taking app. I like the backup and export features. I like having the ability to take photos and mark them up. For the price and features, it’s the best.

Love it

I use this a lot. Great for filling in PDFs. Also good for sketches with legible font notes. Can import your own pdfs to use as templates. Also can add and delete pages on pdfs. *ProTip* - hold your finger down on the screen for a second or so to get options like adding text where you are.

Fantastic Note-Taking App

Iron Chef

I use this daily (with my iPad Pro and Apple Pencil) for work purposes: to record meeting notes, telephone conference notes, and occasional brainstorming or outlining. The search function works great and recognizes my handwriting almost perfectly—on rare occasion it can’t recognize what I’ve written. Templates can be created relatively easily. If I had a complaint, it’s that exported PDFs are too large in file size. Also, the help/“user manual” could be better, but all of my questions were answered eventually. Otherwise, fantastic. If you need to record audio AND sync that to your notes, check out Notability, because GoodNotes doesn’t do that. But since that function would have limited utility for me, it’s a non-issue. I’ve been using this since late June 2017 and cannot imagine working without it. It also gets significant use at home for basically anything I would typically write down with pen and paper.

Good but needs a few things

I love the app but the lack of infinite vertical scrolling drives me crazy. Also there is an issue with importing some PowerPoints where images are missing and text is not sized correctly. Other than that, it is a fantastic application
