(Happened 2 month ago, so far so good) Does not autosave your work

I have lost hours of work on a pdf because this app does not automatically save. Be careful when you export without going back to the main menu, it may crash the app.

This app is amazing

I have schizophrenia so I am very disorganized. This iPad Pro has been my best investment I have ever made. I call it my brain. GoodNotes is the best app (along with Things 3) on my iPad. I like to read great books and take notes. I have a Kindle Fire, with a huge book library, and it has a note taking feature, but with the way my mind works I found it to be inefficient. I tried paper notes in a Moleskine, but after making so many notes, after a while it would take forever to find a particular note I needed. GoodNotes solved all these problems for me. I can take handwritten notes. And the writing is just as smooth as pen and paper. There is no lag at all. And I have created notebooks for each area of my life. I have a category for Christianity that has these notebooks: Bible Study Notes, Prayer Journal, and sermon notes. Then I have a reading category that include a reading journal, and a Commonplace book to write the most life changing quotes I come across. Then I have my writing category that includes my personal Journal, and a notebook for rough drafts of research papers, essays, poems etc. And finally I have a brainstorming category which includes notebooks containing Mind Maps and free writing of ideas that I have. If I was to buy Moleskines for all these notebooks, I would have spent a small fortune. Plus with the handwriting recognition and search, I can go directly to whatever note I want. Purely amazing.

After using both goodnotes and and notability, i can say Goodnotes is better!

Im not gonna go into deep details about the difference between notability and goodnotes, you can find the comparison in Google. All what I'm gonna say that goodnotes has better eraser as you can erase part of the pen stroke for example unlike notability where you can only erase the whole stroke at once; also goodnotes have better lasso tool where you can use it to move objects, copy, past and take screen shots from a pdf file for example which is really useful when making notes/cheat sheet. However, i wish if the developers of goodnotes add an option to choose the continuous scrolling page layout just like notability.

Awesome App

I love how you can make different notebooks and style them with various themes. I also like how you can insert and edit images. This app is a great purchase for a college student like myself.

My favorite work-related App

JTribs

This is a great app! Can take notes, upload + edit documents, annotate pictures and documents, etc. Use it all the time!

Love it but could love it more

Needs better text type entering option something like notability please. As when on my iPhone hard to keep notes up to date.

I love this app. I have recommendations

I love this app. I have been using it for a month now and I depend on it for everything! Would really like to see a calligraphy pen and an algorhythym to make my handwriting better and more even. Also, I upload a lot of power points to write on them, would really like an easier process to do this. Copying and pasting text on top of a picture is impossible, would like that fixed eventually. And last, I’d like an option to send a picture to the back of text or in-front of text. The creators put a lot of love into this app and I appreciate all the small seamless well thought out development. Can’t wait to see what’s next in store for us.

Amazing Pencil support

Vulgar demos

This is an ugly app that works incredibly well if you're looking to make notes with your Apple Pencil.Somehow better than all other apps, including built in ones. I hope they reach feature parity with competitor. Would love to have one app for taking audio etc.
