It is a joke

So I had a prior FOREO Luna (original one) and worked great and lasted me 3 yrs then I lost it and bought the Luna 3 and after charging it for one night it would not turn on so I returned it and got another one and again it would not turn on after charging it. So I wised up and read the small print which said I need to download an app to turn on the device….unusual but I did. The app wanted my email and proof of purchase and where I bought it from (???) before I could register it after registering the app needed to locate my device before I could turn it on. But the app could not locate my device even after charging. I notice that there is a help icon I read it…no help there….there is a ‘chat with us’ icon and they answered very fast but gave me a long (5 steps) list of instructions including turning off my phone and restarting my phone and delegating the cache de-registering my device and registering it again etc…..ALL this so I can TURN ON A DEVICE YO WASH MY FACE!!! Really! Only buy if u want to be frustrated and have spam emails. RETURNING IT AND NEVER BUYING FOREO LUNA

It always loses connection, takes forever to reconnect. Whoever invented and manages this app should be fired.

Without this app, I cant even use my UFO. It’s just useless without it and if the app HAS to be used, it should be working. I should not have to log in every single time I open the app and sometimes it doesnt even let me log in. Other times the connection drops so my device gets disconnected. There should also be a manual setting for heating and cooling that lasts for more than 5 seconds. It should stop heating or warming when that setting is off, not when the device decides.


This app is comically bad

At first it was fine. Nothing to write home about. A few weeks into using my Foreo Bear, the app suddenly switched the language to Portuguese. Before I get the customer service rep’s response—my phone’s settings are in English and have always been in English. If multiple people are having the same problem it is probably due to the app, not the phone’s settings. I’ve tried uninstalling the app, restarting my phone, and reinstalling the app—the language issue persists. I love foreo devices and I really wish they could get their software to work as well as their hardware. Especially when they expect the two to work in tandem. Update: It’s still bad. Now I can’t operate the device without the app…well, at least it’s in English.


App needs a redesign.

This app needs a serious redesign. First of all, I just paid 100 euro for this gadget. I do not want to be greeted with ads for it first thing when I open it. I already own the thing, why are you trying to sell me the thing if I already have it? It annoys me that we can’t skip those ads and that it takes seconds for it to go away. I use the FOREO for a nighttime routine, which means I’m usually exhausted and want to get my routine done so I can go to bed. Having to wait for the app to go through an ad even if it doesn’t last too long, is just stupid beyond words. Please change this. As for the rest. I had a ridiculous time trying to read my FOREO’s barcode. No matter what I did, it just wouldn’t read it. More light, less light. Nothing. And even when I tried typing in the numbers myself it gave me problems. I think I spent an entire hour trying to get it to work. In the end, it turned out that my FOFO was actually corroded on the inside because the battery calcified. I took it back to the store where I had bought it from the day before, and they exchanged it for me. But just to make sure, I tried doing the setup in store so we could make sure it worked. I couldn’t set it up as the barcode just wouldn’t read! The store was so apologetic and even tried doing it for me, but in the end we did it by typing the numbers and got it to pair up. There’s been plenty of other troubles with the app. One night I spent close to half an hour trying to get it to pair as per the instructions, and it just wouldn’t do it. Then I found an easier way through the app itself and had to roll my eyes. It also seems extremely silly to me that some of the things you click on, take you to their site. If you’re going to force us to use an app with your devices. Make sure the app is —THE— app. Believe it or not but these gadgets are extremely expensive, either take the app away completely or make it match the product. If the FOFO ends up being everything I was told it was, I’ll gladly upgrade in the future. But having the app throw the other gadgets on my face constantly is not the way to do it. Let the product speak for itself. If it’s good, trust me, I’ll save up and I’ll buy the rest. It’s why I got the FOFO to begin with.


Terrible App and Website

The app is terrible. No instructions in the app itself. Restarts itself all the time if you toggle yo another app which shuts down the device. For UFO it starts the device in a treatment mode upon turning it on and it just continues unless i pretend to start another treatment then cancel. 2 devices in and UFO won’t cool past 30 degrees. And before Foreo says reinstall app etc etc, I did. It’s still terrible. $250 device and $2 app to make it work. Also your website is just as bad. Sends you in circles between creat account and register device using serial number scratch card that was not in box. This device is simple so idk why you make app and website so overly complicated


Can’t log in!!

I created an account yesterday & now can’t get in. Tried every method (fb, apple, Google & create another account) and getting an error “something went wrong please check your network”. I can write and post this review so clearly my network is just fine. FIX IT FOREO.


Ineffective & time wasting

The app should allow to set massage mode and default to Foreo Luna 3. It is so annoying that I need to open the app every time I need to use it. Please also remove the advertisement from opening the app. It is time wasting!


Horrible and a Joke

The devices are made to work with the app which is a waste of time. When I try to use devices without the app which I prefer it works sometimes and sometimes NOT. It’s frustrating.

I just got a Foreo UFO 2 for Christmas but can’t use it because the Foreo app shuts down immediately before opening. Am using iPhone 13 with iOS 15.1.1.
