Ice Cold Food? Three strikes, you’re outta here

It would be one thing if the restaurant didn’t serve proper food, but it wasn’t their fault, it was yours. One driver delivering three orders where none of them was on the way to the other? Who eats cold food? If I had a microwave or stove do you think I’d be using your service? Shame on you, and your drivers can’t say no because they’ll get bad reviews? That’s the lowest My trash can now has two meals that couldn’t be eaten from the past two days. Both delivered by you

Typically I don’t leave reviews but in this case I must. It seemed like an extremely awesome idea to have my choice of restaurant delivered to my door. That just wasn’t the case, I couldn’t even get an order placed. What happened was I put together an order for Applebee’s. Once all of my items were in the cart I proceeded to “checkout”. The app was in its loading process which never completed. Infinite load sequence, after about 3 minutes I closed the app and re opened it. The order was still in the shopping cart as if I never checked out or paid. I checked my bank account to see if I was charged and of coarse I was. So I called Applebee’s to see if they received the order while thinking it was just a technical error. Well, they never received the order nor had any orders facilitated with DoorDash. So I called customer support for doordash and it was an extreme headache. I explained what happened about 3 times while he reiterated it back to me to confirm roughly three times. Seemed like I was on it’s a small world at Disney World, over and over and over and over. Finally the phone call came to an end. The conclusion was I received an email indicating I would receive a response in 2 business days. It has now been 3 business days and only 2 hours away from 4. Usually this wouldn’t be a big deal but it just doesn’t seem professional at all. I have no choice but to have my bank handle the situation at this point simply because it doesn’t seem like doordash is handling it. The problem is amplified because it was my first time ever using this service and it completely backfired. It is unacceptable for this to be happening in 2018. Zero stars in my opinion but I must leave at least one. FYI it was a charge of $46.94. Pretty steep for nothing at all.

I have referred a friend of mine and she did her purchase, neither me nor her got any $10 reward code. I also sent a support request mentioning this, never got a reply back.

Tells me to update my app in order to place an order. Newest update installed app completely useless now. I’ll go to Uber eats thanks
They don’t honor delivery time.

My food was delivered 1 hour later than promised. You’re better off calling and picking up your food yourself. Use Uber Eats or Favor instead. Never door dash.

Door Dash has very poor customer service. It is hard to get in contact with someone when a problem arises. I am still waiting on a problem to be fixed that happened over a week ago. I have yet to hear from anyone

Everything about door dash is fabulous. It’s so easy to use and reliable. All our favorite food, none of the traffic. Only draw back, it’s very tempting to use A Lot !!!

You are annoying!!!!
The fact that you can NOT make special requests regarding your order is RIDICULOUSLY annoying. What if I don’t want certain things on my sandwich? Nobody likes not having a choice.
