Thanks for wasting my time and money

First of all, I tried ordering online through DoorDash (website). I put in my order, hit submit, and it said to put in payment info. So I hit the submit payment info button over and over and it wouldn’t respond. So I closed out Chrome and tried it though Explorer... same thing, no response. After 10 minutes of trying to get my payment info in, I decided to download the app. So finally after another 10 minutes I was able to order through the app. Mind you, I was already starving when I first tried ordering online. So now I’m extra hungry. So I order through the app, I continue working (I’m at work) and 10 minutes later I get a phone call that the place I ordered from was closed! Ok, so do I get an immediate refund since I have to now cancel my order and use another service or go somewhere else? Nope! I’ll get my refund in 7-10 business days. Cool! Your welcome for the interest free small loan DoorDash. I am writing this from a Denny’s. Oh well. I’ll never use DoorDash again.

I love the app and the choices of restaurants are better than Uber eats and grub hub. I LOVE how fast customer service is on the app with helping with orders if there’s a issue. I have never had a problem with refunds or credits . Which leads to my one issue DEAR DRIVERS STOP FORGETTING DRINKS!! And please read delivery instructions in the app from customers I hate looking down at the tracking and I can literally see drivers not following exact directions I provided in the app and they end up calling me lost , only for me to ask them if they read the instructions and they say no they didn’t see it!!! Pisses me off and makes my food cold getting to Me ! So I’m short DoorDash is a great idea and the customer service reps have been amazing it’s the DRIVERS 50% of the time not FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS! Or leaving behind food or drinks !

I ordered mcdonalds which is literally 2 blocks away just to test it out. It’s my first time using it and it kept on switching drivers every 30 minutes, the wait time just increased. After waiting for about 2 hours they give me a call and say it’s cancelled! What kinda service is that? Never using yet again f¥£k those guys?.

Cons: Door Dash will occasionally not send the food order to the restaurant, causing your order to not be made, and forcing you to pay twice for delayed food. The service/help line never works in time. Once you talk to a customer service rep they will not apologize, or reimburse you and will actually blame you for their mistake. Food is priced higher than menu price+delivery fee+tip. Pros: Drivers are great, fast, nice, and easy to work with. Find another app to get delivery from.

I am a frequent user of food delivery apps, and I am disappointed with Door Dash every time. I have used it twice on my own account and some other times on friends’ accounts. My two experiences were both terrible; in the first the driver was rude to me and implied something racist and took an hour longer than the stated time, and in the second from Chipotle, the driver never showed up to complete the delivery (I immediately ordered the same exact thing on Postmates and got my order within 20 mins). I order on several other apps on a regular basis too; Seamless, Ubereats, etc, and I have always had great experiences with them. I don’t know what is going wrong here, but I am disappointed and deleting the app. My suggestion would be for them to add a feature that lets you track where the driver is, like how every other app does.

App works well but it's stupid that you tip before the delivery. How am I supposed if/how much to tip if I haven't gotten my food yet?

Can someone at door dash please help. I am very frustrated. I have gone through all the process to sign in and am now stuck towards the end. The glitch is my address. The street address is Vine Hill. It was entered as Vinehill. I have tried to correct it but it keeps on reverting to Vinehill. I give up. Please help me.

If you have an issue with your order they make you wait in a line to talk to a representative about it. I spent 15 minutes on my phone to tell them my order didn’t show up. Why do I have to wait in line for that? Let me file a complaint and get on with my life. Terrible experience cause by a very dumb and I’m sure very costly system. Otherwise acceptable but I’m not gonna deal with that when there are 5 other apps doing the same thing better.

I placed an order for Portillos and they use door dash and now so do I. I couldn’t have been happier! I only ordered hot dogs n cheese fries for my family but it arrived earlier than promised And everything was smoking hot. It was the most enjoyable Portillos I’ve eaten since I didn’t even have to deal with the fiasco of going there. Thank you Door dash u have a new customer!
