$8+ convenience fee? What?? Only reason I completed the order was because I got a discount for first time order. Prob the last time.

I did the allow access to location for the delivery and somehow when I finished the order it changed but not before I waited for the delivery guy to call and say he was somewhere across town at another saved location I had. I’m so disappointed with the customer support. They said “we will not give you a full refund because the restaurant already made the food” But did I get my food ?! Now I’m out $30+ and no food. I’m about to go see how much stupid credit they gave me and wait another 30 minutes and will remove my account. Idc about the money just the way they handled it.

Door dash. You need to make a change to your software because frankly it is appalling. The tip to the Dasher comes AFTER they deliver my food. Not before I order. Fix it. Next, the gratuity is optional. Do not make me click 'Other'. The very idea that a gratuity is mandatory is enough to persuade me to *not* tip your drivers; not because they did anything wrong, but because I despise your company and it's little labyrinth of payment processing. I used to dash for you. I know how awful this company truly is, and I'm not writing this review to make myself feel less envious of your brilliant enterprise, I write it because I want you to lose customers before you even gain them. They deserve to know that someone despises you so much, they downloaded and used the customer's door dash app just to shed light on you.

Worst company ever, top to bottom, merchant and consumer side. I have no idea how they secured so many national accounts other than doing business for free for the (national) merchant and abusing/robbing their smaller merchants and customers while not vetting drivers and underpays their drivers. As a merchant I was accosted by their regional sales manager Kevin for months to use their service at a premium price. They then took it upon themselves to copy my logo and menu off my website (not to mention every other restaurant in town as well) and offer delivery even though I declined! I had no knowledge of this until I received a 1 star review on yelp for delivery! I had to contact the customer to find out how she received a delivery to which she told me DoorDash! It took many calls and finally a cease and desist from my attorney to remove my restaurant from their website. All while Kevin and the sales team was trying to justify their service and tell me that I should just pay them since my menu was “live” and customers were using it. Fast forward to being a customer and attempting to use their service I place an order for food, get live updates to where the progress is, wait an hour, driver marks as delivered but never shows or delivered! All support/contact info disappears from app after deliver and your forced into an endless support loop of FAQs that lead to no resolution. Mind you they charged my card, for a service they didn’t provide, during dinner time on the weekend with no support available. Call the merchant and they shrug their shoulders and say not our problem after we handoff to DoorDash. Don’t use this app or support this company. GrubHub/Seamless is by far the best and Uber eats a close second. GrubHub is trash top to bottom.

I ordered food from this app after an extremely long day. I had tried it before and my driver got lost and I got my food cold so I waited about a year to try it again. This time I got a phone call from the restaurant I ordered food from and they just let me know they were out of noodles that I ordered and wanted to know if I wanted a replacement. I let them know and they said that it would be made and on it’s way soon. I got a notification that the food was received by the driver and that he was on his way and then immediately got a notification that the order had been canceled. There wasn’t even a record of the canceled order. Door dash, why do you delete them from your history? That’s sneaky. I called customer service and they were unapologetic and basically said “the order was canceled because the restaurant didn’t have the noodles you wanted. That’s too bad” and gave me no means of fixing the issue. I called the restaurant myself and they said they gave the guy the food and he left. So basically he stole my food. The restaurant proceeded to make my whole order again and gave it to me for free because they are great people. I’ll never order through door dash again, this app was just deleted from my phone and I’ll never download it again.
