The app used to be ok but I have been unable to log into my account via the app since mid-November. Able to log in via website but not the app. Not being able to login means not being able to use the app as my membership ID anymore. Very disappointing.

This app reads whatever is in the system clip board (whatever you last 'copied' to paste somewhere else) every time it is opened. Costco has no legitimate reason to do this. Uninstall if you value privacy.

Needs work. Chat service starts you at back of line every time your screen turns off. You have to constantly keep your screen from turning off or you lose your spot in line. Items in cart can’t be removed—so you get constant reminders you left something in your cart.. you search for cookware. results give you watches. items ordered are later cancelled because not in stock. can’t remove items from cart. the list goes on and on!

Most of my home is stocked with Costco purchases. After spending an hour and a half shopping at all local warehouse during this pandemic, the lights turned off. Of course I shop at the end of the day because that’s when the least amount of people are there. Except this time somebody that works at Costco took my cart, because when I turned around it was gone. I called customer service simply to ask for my annual certificate to be sent to me in the form of a check since I couldn’t spend the money tonight, and I was met with rudeness and a lack of empathy. I canceled my membership. I will never visit Costco again unless the president himself sends me a letter apologizing on behalf of his company. As nice as one can, I told the lady to go f-off at the end of the call. She told me the exact same thing back. Awesome customer service.

The app is extremely difficult to work with. For example I will type in half and half creamer and get spoons. I will type in laundry detergent and get clothes. I will type in romaine lettuce and I get directed to the website and lose everything in my cart to start over. There’s no way to order and pick up. My cart is constantly changing because it skips from app to online. It has me signing in multiple different times and takes hours to complete an order. When I think I finally have an order together and go to check out (or try to) it combines different orders (from app to site) that were lost but now all of a sudden found. It is the most difficult and frustrating App to work with.

Two ideas or areas that could improve. The search appears inconsistent. I found wire shelving once and could not find it again although searches brought up similar items but definitely not the one I was interested in. Related to the first item, it feels to me the ability to save an item and retrieve it is over complicated.

I have been unable to log into the app since renewing my membership since November. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app and I still receive an error message. When accessing my account, the page is outlined in red, with a message that states that my membership has expired. There is a renew button which just refreshes back to the same error message page. My membership was renewed at the time of expiration btw. When I attempt to sign-in, the login page is displayed and I enter my info, and again the page just refreshes back to the login page. This is unacceptable and totally ridiculous. Why even have an app that literally does nothing as it is. You can’t check local club pricing, or shop and pickup. There is an upcharge and delivery fee for items that you can see and order online. Meanwhile one has to call the club and bug the employees there just to find an item price or confirm if an item is in stock. Total mess.

I downloaded the app to get a digital membership card but I can’t find the link to do so. So I can’t’s see much benefit to the app.

Ordered a 110$ item and i cant see when i will receive it anywhere on the app also no tracking details in the app or email! Terrible.
