Really can’t believe the quality of this app.

I have had this app for years and have to just say it’s awful. Really awful. I know when apps get worked on they create and remove bugs, but this is embarrassing for such a solid company. Last night I went to return and replace an item using the app. At first it showed which (happens often) that the buttons brings you to broken link with a teddy bear lying on its side. Cute if you are two. Then when I gave it another attempt it said with a red box it couldn’t do it and to call customer service. I tried again and the same. The a half hour later I get a confirmation email stating the return and replacement has been completed. I then went to us the app to print or email the label but once again it didn’t work. This app is garbage and is really embarrassing for Costco. I have hung in for years hoping this app would get better, but it just trash and barely functional. I personally would read all the reviews to the guys who work on this as you show them the door. Very disappointed in the quality and ultimately service Costco chooses to display in this broken mess of an app.

I couldn’t even get on the app! I put in my membership number and the app kept saying invalid number. I tried twice. I’m done!

Spent 1-2 hours loading my cart, then everything disappeared.

This app is absolutely trash. It’s almost as if the app intentionally disincentivizes you to shop online. I just and only purchased the membership so I can get things shipped home. I live in NYC and most people don’t own cars, so it’s hard for me to buy in bulk since I too, own no car. Spent like 1-2 hours loading my cart and it just cleared everything...worse than that, the prices on the newly refreshed page were significantly higher...

I do not recommend this app. I love Costco and the products they offer but this app is awful. So bad I don’t even use it at all

Almost unusable w latest update

Members already pay to belong and pay to shop at Costco, but Costco also wants to adulterate IN-APP search results with “sponsored” listings???!? What gives, Costco?!? The Costco.com and Costco App were already light years behind other e-commerce sites, but this may just be the straw that breaks the camel’s back

Latest update broke the app. USELESS

Ok. This worked a few weeks ago. I used the QR at the checkout lane. The clerk scanned my phone through the plexiglass. Now with this latest version, when I sign in, it says I have to verify my member number. How did that break? The service desk was pretty useless. Said he sent me a password reset. That didn’t work either. I’m done with this. Back to the regular show my card way of doing things.

This app is useless. I have both Sam’s Club and Costco and Costco‘s technology is purposely terrible. You cannot see what you have in your local club, the search does not work, the app crashes constantly and the only thing that is consistent as a terrible user experience.

Today I received a text that a med was ready and I could get delivered. It’s now 12 hours later, 2 phone calls to costco and transferred to Costco.com where I waited more than 30 minutes 2x before being dumped, 2 to instacart where I got nice people who actually tried to help and explained the fees and such while I waited the several times trying to reset my Costco app password. I went through that step numerous times, never an email with a link to reset. I agree with the low marks received for this app. Enjoy shopping in the warehouse with all the lovely staff. Not at all impressed with this app and it’s absolute nonexistent offer of help.

You can’t buy anything on this app. It constantly logs you out. It’s good for looking at items, that’s about it. Costco is a great company but the app is trash.

Cant stand the hateful behavior of the employees at the stores.
