Miserable incompetent app

gaietr doeee

This is one of those apps that make you wish for its developer’s demise. A total waste of time and effort. Less than garbage.??

Seriously?!

To be clear, my rating is for Costco’s unhelpful app. How is it that an outfit the size of Costco had such crappy web and app options? I wanted to see what they were charging for storage tubs which I have seen in the store before driving all the way there. A search gets me a safety rack for holding them but no storage bins. Next I search for storage tubs. I get bathtubs. Finally I searched for plastic storage tub and got a dishwasher. What?! I also can’t get a search return on their website. However great the store is, they are not up to date with the rest of the world. Good grief. Deleting this app.

Digital card feature doesn’t work

Clearly Costco doesn’t care about its customers or they would have fixed this app long ago. Look at the ratings. It’s quite a feat to have an app rated just over one star in the App Store. Sams Club is closer to our house and now with this debacle of an app, I think it’s time to switch memberships.

Ring pictures not visible from app

Hate it, hate it, hate it

None of the pictures (and any available videos) of rings in the jewelry category are not visible from the Costco mobile app anymore. However, they are visible from the website.

Love Costco, hate the app.

I love Costco. I live a good 60 miles from my nearest Costco so I think that says something about my loyalty to the store. But since I do a lot of ordering online and shipping, I use their app a lot. And it is the worst. It annoys me that I’m not automatically signed in when I open the app so that I’m always immediately shipping from my zip code. The app is so slow. When I say it’s the worst, that’s probably hyperbole because it gets the job done. But when you’re Costco, can’t you provide the latest app experience?

The app blows

Come on Costco! You make enough money, go check out Amazon’s app and invest in a better app experience! Very klugey checkout UI. Both my deliver zip code change and my order submitted froze upon completion. No indication things went through or not…. No email confirmation. Very poorly executed app!!!

Try deleting

App is still generally terrible but I was to gain some functionality (membership card, order history) after deleting and reinstalling the app.

An embarrassment

GomattyD

The app worse than useless, it is frustrating and wastes time instead of creating efficiency. They’d be better off with no app instead of frustrating customers with this app experience. Logins fail more often than not, even when using a password manager to guarantee that the signin details are correct.

Really bad app. Costco is better than this

The bad reviews are true. This app is a shell of a real app, and it’s completely unreflective of Costco overall. This app seems to depend on a web based interface which makes it very slow and disjointed. It needs a major overall. The only good thing I can say about it is I can load up my membership card pretty easily. Other than that, well, they have some lessons to learn from Target etc

Worst app I have ever used in my life

Seriously! Nothing more needs to be said. You would think that with a company as large as Costco, they would be able to get this one right. Sam’s app is 10,000 times better.
