Did Costco learn anything from Amazon?

I love going to Costco warehouse is. I love the variety of products and other customer service no hassle return policy. I am a loyal member of Costco as a result. But Costco’s online support system is way behind the curve. Their customer service is helpless most of the time over the phone. They keep coming back and apologizing for putting me on hold for every two minutes I was on the phone for 30 minutes still my is not resolved. Costco needs to learn something from Amazon legendary customer service and online support system. Calling Costco on the phone is a major pain in the neck

Please add a feature to allow me to see all my past Costco purchases from in store. Costco has the ability to look up my past purchases add it to the app and web log in for the customers.

Love the app and it also has my membership card. Just wish when you sign in account under different devices, would speak to one another

Worst APP

Broken on Purpose?

I have been a member of Costco before they merged with Price Club. I understand Costco’s bread and butter is having people shop at their stores but times have changed. It’s my opinion the Costco APP is the worst ever for a major retailer. It is slow and clunky to use. Costco should poach designers from any of the following: Amazon, Target, Walmart etc... It’s 2020. Companies that can’t or won’t adapt and change eventually fail. Some unsolicited advice. Make a great APP and keep it updated as the world turns.

Put Membership Card First

I like the app, but the first thing to load should be the membership card. I like to flash it at the door and also at the register......but Shop is the first screen. Already hard to open your smartphone with a mask, make the membership card appear first, please. Better convenience for members, we can find the shop tab no problem;)

This app is worthless

Does Costco actually listen to member feedback? 1) Costco cards should be available for Apple Wallet - which has been out since 2012. 2) This app is basically just a web interface which signs you out all the time making you sign back in. 3) Can’t use these at the pump which means I have to go back to 1990 and use a physical card. Makes this app basically useless.

Great store, dreadful app

I love Costco but have a hard time shopping there after shopping at Sams where I can skip lines and use my phone to scan products, buy them, and then again as a receipt to get out of the store. In this regard Sams slaughters Costco. In this day and age and considering the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic Costco is missing a huge opportunity to support social distancing by not allowing their customers to use their cell phones to buy product, skip checkout lines, and walk right on out of the store.
