Slow and Useless for Membership

Can’t believe that a company where the HQ is in Seattle can’t get their app right...still have to use my Costco Card to shop. Local grocery chain has more effective app. Ever heard of single sign on? Some Separate departments require different ID and password. Costco literature says you can use the app instead of your ID card to enter store and you can access your $ rewards via app...really? Have the marketing department ask real users if it works. Physical locations are fine, app doesn’t do the basic functionality promised.

This app is the worst app for joining or online shopping My guess is that Costco is loosing several millions per year by having a really crappy online app I will not renew. Sam’s is much easier to use.
App pretty much NEVER loads

What’s the deal with this app? It never loads. The website won’t load and only wants to direct to an app that absolutely never loads. Glad to see I’m not the only one who has this issues based on reviews and ratings.

The app is disappointingly slow, poor UI — it behaves like a web wrapper, and doesn’t add your membership card to Apple Wallet.

The Costco app has been buggy for months - you cannot log in even with your correct username and password. There was an app update recently and I was hopeful. NOPE. Still crappy and broken. I have to go to Costco.com on my phone’s browser to log in and buy items. So very disappointing, Costco...you can do much better than this. How is it that after months of your app not working, it is still not fixed...even after an app update.
