Nobody told me that I post to pay my car note to car max so now I’m confused

Great service in Fairfield California. And then Fremont California because I change my mind for another vehicle no question ask definitely recommend if you’re pre approve you are taking the car you can afford and like not like other try to sale what they want and a big down payment. For sure will go back to car max. Thank you

Ok, I spoke with an awesome agent over the phone and he found a car with everything I needed. I was overjoyed! Great customer service. Then I had to rent a car, and get a second driver to go pick this car up from East Haven. After 4hrs of traffic we arrived. The person who was at the desk decided to handle the finalizing of the sale. Everything they needed was done, all that was left to do was sign the papers and pay my deposit. When I spoke to the agent on the phone there was a portion of my income that I couldn’t provide valid documentation for at that moment so we left it up there but didn’t submit it for consideration for financing. The salesman in the store saw it and assumed it was something negative. Because I’m black… So he decides to run my credit 2 more times rather than just ask what was killing him and my credit to know! Not including he had NO CLUE as to what he was doing. After several side meetings with his co-workers, whom had no problem assisting him, he comes back and tells me that all my paperwork had been done but he didn’t notice it and apologized! I walked out for air and to calm down. Once back inside as he was about to run my credit a 3rd time I told him the money is from donations from the death of my daughter and I didn’t have the documentation for it! If this $26,000 that was driving him crazy was drug money I WOULD’NT be sitting in CarMax with w-2’s and paystubs! The look on his face told it all. So many issues later I leave with my vehicle and I’m pleased. The next day I take my kids to visit my dying aunt. The radio shut down, nav system, the low tire pressure light comes on my side mirrors tilt down and won’t work and by the way we were on the highway. I get to the tire shop and my tires are fine. This incident is now constant so I have a serious electrical problem. I’m returning the car tomorrow and my daughter has fibromyalgia and I suffer from several medical issues that makes a car a necessity. So now to rent a car, get a second driver, take a loss for the money for having the car shipped to the store and insurance for a vehicle I don’t have is about what I expected after the sales person and I’m an idiot because I didn’t just keep walking. I won’t condemn the company for a used vehicle that they sold without having knowledge of it’s defects but who they employ is different. Because of the no haggle, flat rate commission policy I don’t expect anyone there to care about what this has done to me and cost me. I just lose in every aspect. I’m not going to suggest that anyone not buy from there, some may have a great experience. This is just mine and my disappointment led me to leave this. Happy Holidays to all…..

Where to begin?! They took my old car with much less value than it was worth. Most cars in the fleet are overvalued. And their monthly payments are outrageous! CarMax is a trap and the app is not user friendly, miss a couple of payments for some reason and cant make payment over the app anymore. You would have to give them a call and wait on the line for a very long time until someone answers and finally could help you.. very disappointing and frustrating. I wish i knew better. Not recommended.
