If it weren’t bad enough the continued technical problems I’ve had with my speakers. I made the mistake of buying headphones and those are junk too. Party mode works half the time. And forget trying to control music from the Bose app. It just doesn’t work, you have to switch to the music app. Would not suggest buying Bose. On my second warranty set of headphones and they work so well that I barely bother using them.

The new App Privacy Report in iOS 15.2 indicates that the Bose app is contacting a number of tracking and analytics sites (including Facebook) every time the app is open. Why is this necessary? I love my Bose speakers and this app is so convenient. But I’m going to have to seriously consider switching to a brand that doesn’t track their customers.

It’s an app to update the firmware for the speaker. You connect the speaker through the app but you still have to go to Bluetooth settings so it’s not any better but just an additional step.It shows a few help pages that basically looks like a website. It’s almost like they added stuff to hide the fact that it only has one purpose and that’s to update firmware How about adding sound settings where you can change bass or even a few sound presets. That would make the app much more useful

Bought new & very disappointed. They come dead so you have to charge them and once you charge them good luck getting them to pair. The app will direct you to they’re website for assistance and they’re website is the most useless website I’ve ever experienced. ONN headphones from Walmart are a better option if you’re looking for headphones than Bose. 1 star honest review. Would never buy again and that’s a review. If you want to waste your money go ahead.
