Cannot connect to iPhone 13 pro

Lolo in Mpls

Since getting my iPhone 13 Pro I cannot get my Bose headphones to connect to the phone. It is easily connecting to my laptop but following all possible options with troubleshooting I have yet to get it to even be recognized by my phone. My phone easily connects to other Bluetooth devices. What gives!?

Problem on the iPadOS

Nick iPad iOS

I’m listening to my Bose Quiet Comforts via the iPad. I have another broadcast device (TaoTronics) that then tries to connect to my headphones...and then I lose my connection to the iPad. The only way to stop this from happening is to kill the TaoTronics Bluetooth connection permanently which is a huge pain because I’m going to have to resynch the Bose to the TaoTronics (not easy). SO WHAT THIS APP NEEDS IS A PRIORITY SETTING TO PREVENT THE HEADPHONES FROM AUTOSWITCHING TO A NEW DEVICE THAT TRIES TO GRAB THE HEADPHONES VIA BLUETOOTH.

About the earbuds

SomeOneWhoGivesAShit

The earbuds are great they just need to work independently. The fact that the right one needs to be connected for the left one to work is redundant. Also on FaceTime calls the left one stops working all together.

Why does this app even exist in 2021?

robault

Amazing headphones but what brain dead ignoramous decided this app needs to be on the App Store if connecting my headphones results in a blocking screen to download Bose Music INSTEAD? Update your user manual and pull this waste of people’s time from the App Store. ?? It’s 2021 and we have had squeezable ketchup bottles for years now. Get on it!??

Need sound customization!

navgirl

Not sure what point of this app is otherwise. I have Jaybird earbuds and the X3 has an app that I can customize the sound with. Be nice if this did the same or create one to do it. I have the Bose SoundLink II headphones and they sound great but having an option to boost base or treble would be nice.

Bose Connect app was better before

BorChvor12904

I use the app with my Bose QuietComfort 35 II for two years now. Until about a month ago, the Bose Connect app would display all the devices I had connected to under History, in my case - 6 devices. It was quite easy to disconnect one of the 2 active connections under Current and to connect to a device from History. The current version only shows 1 device under History, which creates an issue as I am switching devices - I would eventually have to remove the headphones from my laptop and add them again each time. Reinstalled the app and the result is the same. Please enable the previous feature that was displaying all the devices I have paired the headphones with.
