I actually drive for a different gig, but, I order my food from Bite Squad. There’s a larger selection of food, I like I can track my food in real time, and it’s the only app that’s available where we live. We actually ordered from our favorite Mexican restaurant tonight, and the drivers are super nice. Plus, my bags are sealed and everything is accounted for.
Subscription is a scam you cannot cancel without bank intervention

When BiteSquad raised their premium subscription to $9.99 per month, I canceled it because the value was no longer apparent for my needs. I regrettably found out a month later I was still being charged a subscription at the new and increased rate. It was “impossible” for BiteSquad to cancel my subscription because they claim to have no record of this charge, despite me providing evidence and my credit card statement. You cannot order food for exactly $9.99. Their answer to my simple request for a refund? “Contact your financial institution.” I wholeheartedly recommend no one ever use this service. I had drivers deliver me spilled food, cold food, food that was tampered with and food that I had to refund because of how long it took to arrive. This is a service that exists as a leech on the back of hard working restaurants and should be removed from the App Store altogether for its ridiculous and potentially scam subscription.

2 of the 6 orders I have requested have came to my doorstep over 2 hours past the time I ordered. Whether it be watching the estimated arrival time continuously tick up minute by minute or afterwards when I receive a phone call at 9pm saying that the restaurant is far, far too busy to complete my order I requested hours ago, it is simply infuriating getting a $5 discount for hours of my time and a meal I now then have to scrounge up for myself. If I even was to use the discount, it would set me for another 2 hours waiting series that would leave the discount in ashes from me cancelling the order once more. Like Bite squad, on a real note, it doesn’t take several hours to get the least popular pan friend dumplings in town.

The app signed me up for a monthly fee without me realizing it. Then it upped the cost to $10/month with no in-app notification. I wasn’t using the app regularly an had no idea they were billing me the extra fees every month until I happened to notice it as an extra line on my credit card bill nine months later. Quite unhappy; feeling tricked into paying for a service I did use or want.

Unless you want to starve waiting on your food. Waited 30 minutes before they cancelled my order without communicating to anyone. Spoke to a support adviser and never dealt with a ruder person in my life. Like it was my fault. I would stay away from this company. There are to many other companies that deliver that are a lot more friendlier.
