I Love the Concept but it isn’t working well

I have had the Alexa App for a few years now and I use the book and music list to play for my Mom who is blind. But for the last six months or so it has become unresponsive. I can no longer see where she stops in a book. I cannot even access the list from my phone. It would be nice to fix this glitch because the books and music add a dimension to her life that is enjoyable for her. Please fix? Thanks.

What a marvelous piece of work. To be able to handle such a variety of input and discern what is desired is simply incredible. This is a well polished device to be so early in the technology. Is there room for improvement? Yes. But consider what you are asking this inanimate object to do and how accurate and responsive it is and at the price you pay for it. Brilliant! Bravo!

Can’t find where to turn brief mode off. Alexa asked me one day if I wanted to turn it on. I tried, but decided that I liked more the ‘Okay’ response. However, I can’t find how to reverse the configuration back.

Re-install fixed all the issues I was having. Updated my review to 4 star. noticed a new update was installed this morning. So I’ll continue to monitor. Hope to give this app 5 star because I love the devices. 2 days ago- So I finally just deleted and re-installed the app and it’s not longer freezing like before. I will play with it a few days and update my review score based on my new experience. Crossing my fingers as I really enjoy using the devices. Last week: This app used to work. Now it freezes on whatever screen it opens on and I cannot use it at all. Love my devices but the app is useless now and due for a complete overhaul. Running iOS 11.4 on iPhone 8 Plus

When using the list feature it will constantly lock up where you have to force close the app and start again. It seems to happen once you mark off items then attempt to go back for more. The old app never had this issue. It’s been this way since the logo/icon change. You would think with all the money Amazon has they could hire decent programmers.

Just bought Alexa plus and the app doesn’t work!! It is frizz in the page that says “connected to echo plus” with the blue button saying CONTINUE! but it doesn’t work!! I deleted and installed the app so many times and it keeping stuck in the same page!! Someone can help? Or I need to send this stupid Alexa back to amazon ?? ??
extremely slow response. cant connect to any smart devices

worked nicely for about a month. then one by one, it could no longer connect to devices. now it cant even form groups for audio playback. hundreds of dollars spent on several various echos, and they cant communicate with anything but have internet and can each separately play songs or answer questions. i can reach my smart devices directly from my iphone and ipad, but echos cant and alexa app is very unresponsive. each interface press takes 20-30 to respond and sometimes not at all
