Latest Update Created Problem

Pulse App Update 2 days ago broke the history. Cannot retrieve history. Called ADT technical support and was told have to wait for next app update and hopefully it will fix problem. Well, isn’t that nice??!! Why am I paying extra for the pulse of it doesn’t fully work?!

All activity history is showing errors after the most recent update and the app takes longer to fully load compare to the last version. Alarm system and everything else work fine in the app. Please fix soon!!!


Most recent update broke “All Activity” history

Since the most recent update, when trying to access the “All Activity” history on the ADT Pulse app, I see a message stating “Error retrieving history. Please try again later”. Once ADT resolves this, I’m sure this app will once again merit a five-star review. Please note that prior to posting this review, I deleted and reinstalled the app to ensure that this simple step wouldn’t fix the issue. It did not. The issue still exists.

App has been down for me for literal days, error message that says login failure, sign in successful but you do not have access to a site. Password reset and everything and it has not worked, what am I paying for??


Easy to use but lights go offline and stay offline

The app is easy to use. My lights go offline after each power outage. After so many outages, all my lights become offline. I’ve tried several things but eventually I need a technician to come in to get them back on. It’s only good until the next power outage when the cycle starts all over again. I’ve never had all my lights online in the app longer than 2 months and I’ve had this service for about 4 years.

System is slow to connect and switch between cameras. I always have one camera that won’t work and have trying to fix / repair for months now. Concept is good just wish it were better considering the amount of money that I paid. It might be a time for a change to see what’s out there


ADT is not standing behind their products

Last year, I called ADT to cancel service after over 5 years of being a customer and not seeing any improvement in the service yet increased prices yearly where my in initial $40 monthly had become over $70 per month. The customer service was trained well as the actually fooled me selling me more products eg stating that they can install cameras free of charge and just about $8 extra eg about $78/month and of course they use the scare tactics and convincing cameras are great tool to feel safer. They installed cameras it is over a year and they never work properly they go on and off then to reconnect I have to unplug and replug. I called couple of times they send technicians. They didn’t fix basically anything and were rudest people I have dealt with. They are working for a safety company but made me uncomfortable about safety of having them in my home. The last guy was fine but only thing he did was to reduce image quality so cameras stay connected that lasted again for 2 days before the on and off issues restarted again. I called to cancel again and I realized that I had actually bound myself into a 3 years contract when I was offered free camera installation so I have no choice than waiting 2022 and almost entire 2023 before I can get of this contract. They tried again selling ne lower price with another 3 to 5 years from this year. Knowing now the scam I said know. I told them they must stand behind their products and fix cameras. They blame cable company and claim they can not do anything about it yet they installed these dummy cameras and left me with several years of monthly payments for a useless system As soon as my contract is done in 2023 I will try ring or other no contract services
