Odd Issue

Tommie 303

I find it very odd and interesting ( and annoying) you change phones you lose all your info. Why? This should be addressed.

Where’s the supposed donations?

paroh

I’m walking for Leashes End in Maryland. But it’s hard to recommend this app to other people who want to support this not-for-profit. So far no one from WoofTrax has returned any communications made by Leashes End. While I’m amused by an app that tracks my dog walks, I primarily downloaded this app for its charitable support. I want to encourage others to use it, but not if it’s a sham.

Other Walking Apps

This app stops working if you use other step apps at the same time. Works fine if it’s the only app in use.

Disappointing

Pegleg1966

I’m regularly walking with my newly adopted dog and loved the idea of being able to track our distance while giving back. So far one walk shut off seconds after we started (phone was in my pocket so I had no idea til we got home) and didn’t track at all, and one walk isn’t showing up on my dashboard....and both of those walks are showing the same route, even though we took different routes. I’ve been using this app for only 3 days and already issues. I can’t recommend an app that doesn’t work.

Frequently stops in the middle of walks

Have to join chorus of individuals that have issues with the app crashing in the middle of walks and stop recording progress...this looks to have been an ongoing issue for a while now...why hasn’t it been addressed?

No longer working properly

Walks for Rescues

GPS is off. Background refresh not working (can no longer even find this app in list of apps to turn it back on). Seems something went wrong in a recent update. Please fix.

Gone Horrible

I have used the app for over two years with no problems but the last few months it has gotten really bad. It will randomly stop tracking and if you stop to take a picture that will stop the app now for some reason as well. I just watched it chew up 12% of my battery in about 2 minutes after it hit the perpetual loading screen when you push the button to stop the walk. I have 75 miles to go until 2,000 miles. When I hit that mark I’m screen shoting it and deleting the app. It’s a shame that 2 years and 2,000 miles of dog walking is going away but it time to move on to something reliable.

Is this thing working?

I’m writing this for 2 reasons. 1. I’m reading about all the problems with the app crashing since the change. I used it a lot in the past and got away from it but I’ve recently started using it more often, walking 2 miles a day for three weeks straight now and I’ve had 0 issues. Not one problem with it crashing. But the second reason for writing this is an problem I do have.... is the rescue I picked getting anything? The answer... no. It’s my friends rescue and I talked to her today. She’s had walkers walking for her for months now and she hasn’t received a penny. Not one donation. My guess is there must be minimum requirements in order to get paid?? Don't know? All I know is I walked dozens of times and who knows... apparently it’s all for nothing. ??‍♂️

Not Very Useful

NebularKink

I’ll reiterate what a lot of others have to say here. The concept is great, but recently the app quits tracking our walks with no apparent pattern. Some days it tracks the whole walk. Other days it stops after half a mile or so. Today we didn’t get out of our front yard. I hope this is fixed because I have enjoyed using the app for quite some time.

Only works about half the time

GabrielleFSU

I used to love this app. Unfortunately, it has gotten worse with every update. At least half of the time, it doesn’t register a single mile on 40-mile bike rides or 3-mile walks. It is such a great concept to help charities, but it’s frustrating and useless most of the time.
