Great app... when it works

I love this app, it’s fun... easy to use... except that half the time it freezes on the start up screen then crashes. I’ve done multiple updates, uninstalled and reinstalled it... nothing works. The developers weren’t particularly helpful either when I contacted them for help. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Older version was better

With this latest version I can’t start the app unless I’m on Wi-Fi. That is if I leave the house juggling dogs and various other things and get down to the end of my driveway and then say oh whoops I better start up the WoofTrax, the screen is unresponsive, I can launch the app but I can’t do anything. Furthermore I’m pretty sure I already wrote a review about this but it only shows one review, five stars. I don’t understand that. Trying again. Update 11/19/2019 Okay deleted my previous update. On my phone this app only works if started on WiFi. Otherwise non-responsive. It’s an iPhone 6s Plus, iOS 13.1.3. I have deleted and reinstalled the app, rebooted the phone, no joy. I see others with similar complaints and not seeing any sign that the developer is aware.
New frustrations

I don’t like the new configuration. The old way was irritating at times, but this new one is just frustrating. When you click to start walking it’s hard to tell if it’s actually working. I’ve gotten a mile or so in and realized it’s not on. Today we walked about 2 miles, I checked several times if it was working and then when I hit the square stop button all info vanished. It’s not the first time this has happened. Also as other reviews have mentioned, is my chosen shelter actually benefitting in any way at all from this? Or are you just suggesting that we make a donation ourselves? If so, what do I need the app for? My phone tracks my walking.
Frustrated

I used WoofTrax for a few years with no problems. Now when I getting ready to walk the screen freezes and I’m not able to load my walks. I didn’t take time to call or see about the problem. Attempted reloading, not a phone problem. Can’t reach support.

I installed it and deleted it three times and it won’t let me log in or make an account or anything i really wanna use the app

We recently adopted a canine from Homeward Bound Rescue of NY. As I was going through her paperwork, I came across the paper telling me about this app. I downloaded it immediately, and the front page to create a log in, I cannot even tap the screen to make my keyboard to appear so I can type. I was so excited to use this as I am about to take my puppers for a walk, so I am bummed! I will edit my review upon developers fixing the app bugs.
Update is BUGGY

The new version won’t let me look at history. It shuts down every time I try. It does seem to track correctly. I will continue to use it for the we shelter, but it is useless to me as a tool for tracking my walks.

I really like tracking my walks with my dogs but eve since the last update it shuts down unexpectedly, or takes forever to open properly:( sometimes changing is not a good thing and don’t fix what doesn’t need to be fixed! It was fine before! InksHdH
