Great app, bad pricing

I love this app, I really do. I use it for all my writing and I absolutely adore the ghostwriter they’ve added. It helps me come up with ideas while I write. I was going to subscribe to be able to use it more, but having people pay a flat fee of $150 per year instead of charging monthly is a lot to ask. I guarantee you would get more subscribers if you charged $12.50 per month or even $15. Some like me love this app, but we cannot shove out $150 all at once for it.

I been using this app for years and been happy with it. Gotten so many stories and ideas written down. But this is just for me so when it updated to newest version and lock went to face id i was disappointed cuase now who ever has my passcode to unlock my phone can go in and snoop around. Please go back to the old one where you choose a passcode. Or at least give the option if you dont want face id
Used to be 5 stars before update. DO NOT update if you like the design as is.

I used to use this app as my go-to for writing for years now but the new update has made me consider finding a new app. The interface is now big and bulky, and I miss the lists showing a preview of the text (I only use the projects, not the ideas) and the ideas and projects being on individual pages. Its far less customizable now and the huge menu bar at the bottom, when it used to be smaller, is a huge distraction. I wish I never updated. I tried so many writing apps before finding werdsmith, but now those apps I used before look like a better option now, even with their cons.

I’ve been using werdsmith for years now. I loved its original layout. And now with the update everything is different and it makes the app way less enjoyable in my opinion. Not being able to restore any of my old works due to “reaching the word limit.” And with all my ideas only being able to have one project open at a time..? I even considered buying the membership but after seeing how expensive it was I just couldn’t. Is there any way to go back to the older version? That’s really all I want lol. Can someone please get back to me and tell me what to do? I’d really appreciate it thanks :)

Getting used to the new update was a bit of a challenge but now as I’ve gotten used to it it’s a breeze! I love the ability to search now as I have several untitled works! This app has improved my writing tremendously in the past 2 years. Love it!

They want $150/year subscription in order to allow you to format a document as a screenplay. To change the font and indent things properly. Absolute insanity. What are they thinking?
Worst writing app ever. Do not download.

How do you exit your story? How do you press enter? Hate prompts, pop up and are annoying.

Ghostwriter should not count a usage if it censors a response. It’s a waste of a use, not to mention limited uses are already silly if you’re a paying member, especially considering the price.
