Privacy concerns

I deleted this app after it recommended a person who was not in my contacts. I had been to her house but had not called or texted. Voxer was set to NEVER for location, but it appeared to be using my location anyway to suggest contacts.

Kinda terrible

ajmesch

Stops playing after 4 seconds and just loops the 4 seconds over and over for however long the message actually was. Edit: this is still happening, only now it’s playing 3 seconds and then just stops.

A lot of bugs but still a good app

Recently an issue I’ve had with the app is if I’m listening to music and exit out of Voxer, it’ll pause my music.

Been using for years but....

I’ve used this app for years but may have to try another. I’m losing too many important messages. A close friend just sent a few messages i needed and there is a 6 minute one that plays the first 10 seconds then stops. She tried fwd to see if that trick would work but nothing. Its happening too much unfortunately. Stinks when you have a long message you can’t listen to that she can’t recall the details of but you really need it. If there’s a trick let me know.

I want the new notification sound

My brother uses this on android and has the new notification sound. I want the new sound. When I get that I’ll put at 5 stars.

Not for Disabled Users

This app makes it nearly impossible for me to communicate and has negatively impacted important networking opportunities for me. Besides the never-ending glitches and privacy concerns detailed in other reviews, this app fails miserably in the accessibility department. iPhone and iPad accessibility features do not function with Voxer and the Voxer app has no built-in accessibility features of its own. For those of us with visual impairments, this essentially renders the app useless unless every person in a group agrees to use the audio recording feature. You’d think a development team would consider the fact that *even* disabled people go to work and communicate with groups. The Voxer team needs to focus its efforts on reliability, UI, and most definitely on inclusivity.

Just quit working one day.

Can't say anything good about the app, it won't be missed.

No notifications

I’ve been using this app for years, but for whatever reason last year my notifications (sounds) stopped working… it drives me crazy!

1969 dated messages

Bks1

The app crashed and then would not send or receive messages. I had to reinstall which then deleted all my history/contacts/notes/etc which when dealing with business aspects is terrible to lose. Now it will not send or receive messages at all because they are getting marked as being sent December 1969. Perfect.

A little buggy

GumotChen

Messages that have already been read and listened to appear unread. Need a way to unsend messages
