Kudos to the IT team at Virgin. They have just made a massive upgrade to their old app. The look and feel is as you would expect from a company as cool as Virgin. Even better, it works perfectly. Well done!

App is much better but STILL doesn't have the ability to add my flying club card to Wallet. I can add flights fine but not my membership card?!

Everything worked perfectly until you updated it a few days ago. Now, I have had to change my meals twice, I am unable to add emergency info...also, I had enjoyed the nice countdown to my trips. Said countdown is now unreadable against the background graphic.
Does not work "error 210"

It just keeps saying "sorry something went wrong....error 210" when searching for ANY flights. I've re-downloaded the app and same thing. iPhone user here.. All other airlines apps work. I wanted Virgins app because their rates and flights are best but the app does not work for me.

The recent update messed up my account statement and made it difficult to track the membership year circle. Also, I was denied priority boarding on Delta even though I am a gold member, possibly because the Delta's system doesn't recognise Virgin's new membership number. Getting tired of calling the customer service for a clarification/solution.

Not stupid twice
Seriously unbelievably horrid considering it's Virgin Atlantic. Although their mobile website is crap too. I apparently put in the wrong password ONCE. It said I had exceeded the number of tries??? But it allowed me, in fact, took me straight to my upcoming booking! I was interested in upgrading. It tells you the price ranges from $10 to $2500....why bother mentioning it?? But there's no way to actually check what it is or order it. Fine, I'll stay in economy, and next time I'll take a different airline and erase this stupid, worthless app. Need a ZERO star!

Needs a significant overhaul

The Virgin app is in dire need of an overhaul, and apart from the ability to check flight status, is largely useless. The app has not been designed with the traveller in mind and should have a seamless copying of passenger information at the checking in process, but instead the user is required to enter the booking reference - what is that about? - followed by re-entering all the passport and visa information that is already stored in the profile. Needs a complete re-think ... see BA app on how to do it properly.
