App will not open

This app has been good for months. The past 3 weeks I have not been able to open the app except for a couple of times here and there. I get messages reminding me that I have not synced the app and when I try to open it the app sits on the yellow/gold screen. I am not sure if anyone else has this problem but it is very frustrating. The app and my fitness band are useless!!!

No syncing. No flashing lights on charger. Thought it was me, but similar complaints on Twitter and elsewhere. (It's usually a 4-5 star device. The 1-star is to get Jawbone's attention.)
