Taking forever to fix app

New to Uber eats delivery I have only made 12 deliveries but the instant pay feature is already having problems! It has been down for 5 days now going on 6. All of the call support people have no idea what’s going on. Very disappointed!!!!


Frustrating

I signed up to drive and it keeps kicking me out the app. It won’t let me change anything. I click the help button and it just signs me out. I can even sign up because of this stupid app. I’ve always had trouble with Uber idk y I thought driving for them would be any different! I wish I could give ZERO stars!!!!

I am very disappointed every thing had been going great I’ve been driving for Uber eats for about a week and using instant pay to cash out to my debit card ? all of the sudden i work a full 4 hrs and suddenly I’m logged out and can’t log back in with out resetting my password then they take away my instant pay this is crazy i am mother with children you shouldn’t do people like this make them work and then withhold funds this is ridiculous very upset

Not sure why or what happened. I updated my vehicle information and once I completed the process of updating the information, the app locked me to only been able to receive Uber delivery requests. I emailed, message and called support and their answer was that they are working on it. It has been now more that 12h, and after removing the app, downloaded again, signing in, and out for like 10 times, the app still only letting me get Uber delivery. I have been driving for Uber more than 500+ trips and have a 4.95 star rating as a driver. This is the kind of frustration that makes a driver go look for Lyft. The problem also is that all the people that responded has been saying that you will need to wait 15m for the app to reboot or reset. 12h later, and the problem is not been fixed.

I’ve tried to call 3 times and it takes 40 minutes to get my call answered. My problem wasn’t solved in any of them. On lyft just one call 10 minutes to be answered. Background check taking 6 months and keep going. They don’t even sent an application to checkr.

I have been driving for Uber almost 2 years. The app is solid, does not crash. So why my 1 star review. Navigation. Uber spends so much money on their built in navigation and its GARBAGE. In a regular basis there are some routes I take for riders and it tells me to take the wrong exit, or has me stop in the wrong location. This weekend. I was picking up a rider and stopped right at the location that the app told me to. But it was half a block past where the customer was. This is ridiculous. Uber does not care if drivers have problems. They dont make it easy to report problems with the navigation. What’s worse, All I can think is they get millions from Google to only offer Google Maps and Waze (owned by google) and not Apple Maps. As an iOS user I prefer Apple Maps. It’s gotten much better and usually better than the garbage Uber has. Plus as an Apple Watch owner, if they offered Apple Maps as an option I could get notifications or upcoming turns from sounds and notifications on my watch. Also, their app “works” with an iPad. but it was not switch to landscape mode, nor does it offer split screen mode. In the 2 years I have driving for Uber there really has no been any real improvements of the app, other than them spending 99% of their time trying to fix their horrible navigation.

I loved it when I first drove for them. Then they did the commie thing requiring drivers wear masks. Then went full on commie and are no longer allowing their “independent contractors” to decide if they transport people without masks or not. I’m done with Uber entitled leftest pigs is all they are. Hope they fail. I will be deleting this my rider app and postmates since they recently acquired it.


Car seat issue

I’m a driver. If a rider does not have a car seat for their child, then I click the NO CAR SEAT button. Unfortunately, it doesn’t register it correctly, and I don’t get the proper cancelation fee. Each time this happens, I have to call in, then they manually add it in. This has happened several times in the past—same issue every time. Please fix. Thanks!
