Absolutely inept Customer Service

Never have I ever had to deal with a more inept customer service/driver support department. I have been trying to get my documents issue/background check issue resolved for THREE MONTHS now and have gotten the same canned response 22 times! Here’s the run down: I moved to a new state and got a new drivers license. Checkr completed background check and Uber has been chasing its tail for three months. I’ve spoken to ten (10!) separate people on this issue with NO resolve: Nikhil Shivam Aamir Hazel Kev Mahesh Vino Saroj Amandeep Neha This is ridiculous. I just want my account to be reactivated man. That’s all.

The app work fine but there are some corrections to be made. 1. Do not send the next offer moments before the driver is trying to find the address of the pending one it is very annoying and counter productive. Not to mention, it’s dangerous when trying to find the address you never been to and driving at the same time. 2. You reinvented the wheel twice by having the driver take the picture of the delivery within the app. This only works if there is cell signal in the area. 3. When making a delivery offer be more transparent, stop moving the map making it harder for the driver to figure out if it is financially feasible to take, save your selves time and avoid to have the delivery driver cancel the order because the order did not make sense.


Deactivation is frustrated

The Uber is one of good way to make gigs. But if they deactivated your account because of passenger's request and struggling to reactive? Sorry it's impossible. For Uber drivers are no one rather than passengers. I'm disappointed.


Background Check got approved by Checkr and Uber declines??

ONLY DO UBER FOR A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME (Driving of course) a this company has internal issues that don’t actually run their process correctly. If you have anything on your record previously please be careful. They might decline you and not give an explanation. Being on home for 30 to 40 minutes just for the customer service to say they can’t help. I never really had problems with the company, ive always heard bad reviews when being a driver. I don’t do Uber much but needed to pay a bill, I don’t recommend this company being your one and only source of income! Pursue something that makes you WAYYYYYY MORE MONEY! Uber fired a lot of their team and are looking to never helping the drivers. They don’t want to be reliable for damages or any liability. That’s why you are an independent contractor and NOT an employee. Please be smart out her and don’t let them take advantage of you! Much Respect to you drivers and Riders be safe!

Uber just blocked my account after only 4 days of been activated! They said because of my background check! So why my background check is clear and clean? This is ridiculous.

Uber Denver city service great ?? -There is a lot of misdirection at airport area ,in uber navigation ? -the app doesnt work always properly , like in the city I waited at least 2 hours for 1 airport to city trip ??? why because my app broke when my turn came

Upon further review of prop 22 I have concluded that it is exactly what drivers need. Benefits while remaining independent contractors. I won’t go into all the details but I do want to cover one specific area: minimum earnings guarantee With 120% of minimum wage, $0.30 per mile, and keeping 100% of tips it’s no wonder most drivers support this proposition. There is also a $300 a month stipend towards health insurance that is worth noting


Viewing and sending thanks

Just updated the app and unable to view earnings or send thanks. Also getting multiple notifications on tips. I’m actually thinking of talking to a lawyer about the multiple tip notifications to see if you are liable for paying us for all the tip notifications we get. You should also check into hiring some better or more experienced IT people. Obviously the ones you have can’t quite cut it.
