Awful

This app is AWFUL! It is constantly disconnecting and saying my password is incorrect when I know it is correct. It also doesn’t work on any of my Google homes. It only works on the Amazon echo. This app needs some work to fix all of the bugs.

Easy and Fast.

Love it. Nothing more to say. Work Great and Easy to use Simple. Thanks and God Bless.

Happy homeowners

We are extremely happy with our programmable thermostats. We are snow birds and it is easy to manage and get alerts. It has saved us a couple of times. We live in Minnesota and can’t go without heat. One time one of our furnaces wasn’t working and we received an alert that we had dropped below temp set. We had a friend check property and then we called for service. They came out and serviced and then we received the alert again. They had to come back again to get the new furnace working properly. Another time we got an alert that thermostats were offline. Which was a small area power outage. It wasn’t showing up in our electric company’s website. Also we turn heat down when we go away for a few days or more and it is nice to turn up remotely so it is nice and toasty when we get home.

Love Hate Relationship

Foremost Faithful

This is a great product and I enjoy the flexibility of controlling the temperature in my home from anywhere in the world. I also like the idea of accessing the cameras in my home so I can ensure the furnace is running and at the desired temperature. The downside is this unit may be defective because twice a week while my internet is online, the unit goes offline and shows a blank screen. I have to remove several times before it will show an actual screen to get my furnace running again. This would be a major issue if I was out of town during winter months because the only way to get my furnace running, I have to remove the thermostat physically. If out of town, there is no way to reset and this cause a major frozen pipe issue. I’m considering returning this somewhat defective unit to the store for another unit to see if I experience the same problem. Other than that, it’s a great product.

Keeps logging me out

The app is amazing and very useful! 4 stars because it keeps logging me out time to time. If not that, I’d give 5 stars

So outdated

JCJD2

This app looks like it was made 10 years ago and the interface never updated. The ability to remove an old device that you’re not using anymore is not supported so now I have unresponsive units showing up in my device list forever.

Perfect for me

One Peach

I looked at, and read reviews of a few different devices before purchasing. I settled on the Honeywell after also seeking advice from HVAC pros. Could not be happier. After Hurricane Irma took out power to most of Florida, my home was without power for 9 days. I was staying at the home of a friend nearby whose power was on and while sitting in her kitchen talking, suddenly my phone alerted me to the fact that my thermostat thought it was too warm in my house. Power was back. Love my thermostat.

Great app

Works very well!!!

Functions but too basic

SDMinesFootball

Wish the unit had the ability to change the outside weather report to where the unit was installed vs my home zip code area that I registered the unit with. Otherwise functioned well.

Hello 1990’s

The GUI for this app is something akin to Windows 95. Definitely not something you would develop and be proud of in 2020. If there is a positive at least this app is as crappy as the Honeywell equipment to works on. I would stay far away from this app and the Honeywell thermometer.
